AcaiBurn / Acaiburn

1 Ontario, Canada Review updated:

Hey guys, the response Posted: 2009-01-06 by Acaiburn is accurate based on the terms and conditions in their website. Most people (except the stupid ones) would not touch Acaiburn if they have read the terms and conditions. However, those who did not read are not necessarily stupid or fools as Acaiburn said. The fact is that most people are too trusting and they do not expect to be charged when they do not have the product or they not use the service. Those who made the mistake of not reading the terms and conditions are not stupid or fools. They just fell into a trap!

The future complaints against Acaiburn may come from your friends or loved ones. If you do not want that to happen, spread the word around how Acaiburn does business. You probably have forwarded jokes to your friends, relatives and acquaintances. You can do the same thing, only this time, it is not a joke.

Hi VIV3 Lab Ltd have done the same to me here in England. I have four amounts of $118.63 taken from my Credit Card. No goods. I did not sign Terms and Conditions, I did not accept Terms and Conditions. Their email address is [protected]@viv3.com. Email them every day, several times a day if you can. Do a (Services/Goods not received Chargeback Dispute) to the Company. Tell you bank that you want to do the same. Keep all details. Keep telling bank and Company that you have NOT NOT NOT received any goods and they have not legal right to do this to you. Threaten them with the small claims court and lawyers. Keep all emails from them as evidence. Use words like "you did not authorise them or any other companies affiliated to them" - you did not authorise them to take any funds from your bank. Tell the Bank the same. Keep fighting. They both will come back with their excuses. Do not take them. Ask bank for email address to contact them then you can email them every day. Do not put your details in email to bank just last 4 digits of your card number, your surname and postcode. Tell them it is urgent that they have a responsibility to you as a customer. Tell them that they should have warned you about these companies and asked whether you OKAYED these amount to be removed. They have know about this "SCAM" for some time but have done nothing to protect us.

I went for the trial offer, and now they have taken out two payments of approx. $82.00 and I haven't received anything other than the trial product. I didn't give them authorisation to do this, and now how do I stop it happening?

Unfortunately (as with many of these offers) there is always a catch - this is what appears on all sites that I found when you sign up for the free trial - Basically you have to cancel your membership (or call your credit card company and dispute the payment)

Offer Details: When you place your order today with AcaiSlim Plus, you will automatically become a part of our elite customer club. Your active credit card will only be billed $4.95 for the shipping of your 14-day trial. While you continue to lose weight with AcaiSlim Plus, your active credit card will be billed the low member price of only $79.95 per month for every month. (Shipped as a fresh, 3 month supply every 90 days.) And remember, there’s never any obligation – you can cancel your membership at any time by calling 888-591-2190. Additionally, for your fourteen-day and twenty-eight day trials to World Club Fitness and Weight Loss Resources you will be charged $6.95 and $8.95 a month thereafter (shows as "VH ACCESS" and "HEALTHMEMBER") should you choose not to cancel. Charges for bonuses are non-refundable, but subscription can be cancelled and future charges stopped at any time. To cancel, call toll-free 866-407-3685 for World Club Fitness and 866-417-6059 for Weight Loss Resources. Orders outside of US pay an additional $9.95 for shipping. No obligation, CANCEL ANYTIME!

For those who commented to read the terms, I did, very closely, and it said nothing about cancelling in 14 days or any amount of days. I also forgot to mention in my last comment that this company always bills slighlty different prices and under different names. What legitamate company does that?

I had to go into dispute with my credit card company to get similiar charges taken off my account. The one thing to watch for is this: the credit card company wants you to try and settle with the merchant first. So I called the number on my credit card billed linked to the charge several times and never got the order cancelled but I can tell you what I did get - $60+ charges on my phone bill because I was calling Canada without knowing it. So... be very careful where you are calling to talk to the merchants. I did finally receive credit back on my card. I am still getting small charges (6 or 7 dollars) from companies that I haven't even heard of. I'm thinking of cancelling that card and getting a new number. Even the credit card company suggested I do that. Maybe you can too.

Hidden memberships added to account and then automatically charged to bank account. Then the customer service reps say you can't get a refund.

First, when I bring up your list of complaints here, the first thing I see at the top of the page, under Google Ads, is the exact products I want to complain about...Weight-loss scams with Acai Berries. Company that we tried said "free" samples and pay just the shipping, then they tried to charge $48.11 for a "membership fee"...we cancelled the creadit card while their charge was "pending".

All Google ads are scams, no matter where you see them. As a matter of fact, ALL internet, TV and Radio ads are scams, no matter which program you see or hear them on...sad, but oh so true.

Let's try a novel idea...try getting it LOCALLY FIRST! You STILL will get SCAMMED if you respond to any of the above mentioned type ads!

oesn't anybody ever take the time to Google search a company BEFORE giving out their personal credit info?

I can't believe how gullible people are these days. It's almost like they were born YESTERDAY, with the intelligence of a baby. You cannot trust ANYTHING OPRAH or anybody else advertises! That, sadly, is a fact of life these days.

The PHONY BALONY NAMES these companies use just scream SCAM but apparently some of you STILL can't hear it !!!
There is NO magic pill for anything!

Many of these SCAM companies are not based in the USA, but you don't usually know that when you order. SO DON'T ORDER!
Once you give them your credit info, it is then TOO LATE to change your mind, even if you TELL them you do NOT want to order before you hang up or get off the website!

This ACAI BURN, ACAI BERRY BREEZE, GRANT WEALTH KIT, Dr. FLORAS COLON CLEANSE, GRANTS 360.com, Acai Advance, ACAI BERRY DETOX, Google Biz Kit, ACAI BERRY MAX, Nature Cleanse, Pure Resv, Maxaciburn, WY YI tea, HealthRezV, All the free money GRANTS sites, colon cleanse, Miracle Beauty Creams, get rich quick, Tax Settlement claims and buy houses for $300.00, pennies on the dollar, mortgage refinance, Mortgage Modification, Weight Loss, Gold buyers, Payday Loans, Penis Enhancement, Dating sites, Auto Insurance (US Fidelis & others), credit card relief, and all the "free trials, just pay shipping", ARE ALL SCAMS to get your credit information. They will promise or Guarantee you anything it takes to get your credit information!

ALL of the so-called GOOGLE ADS are a complete SCAM!!

Please read the TERMS OF SERVICE of ANY product carefully before ordering ANYTHING. Stay safe …DON’T order anything from the internet, TV or RADIO. Most of the time, you can't read this until you have given them your credit information and by this time, it's too late!

We are a nation of naive, trusting people thinking we are about to get something for nothing or near nothing.
All we have to do is freely give our credit information to a voice on the phone we can BARELY understand, or worse, to a scam website we never heard of before. We give out information to them that we would NOT give to our most trusted BEST FRIEND. It's no wonder America and Americans are going to HELL in a hand basket.

NEVER, EVER RESPOND TO ANY INTERNET AD, TV OR RADIO AD, NO MATTER WHAT THEY PROMISE OR GUARANTEE and no matter which program or website you saw or heard it on. They are all lies. The so-called testimonials are paid actors, NOT REAL, ACTUAL TESTIMONIALS. Their Guarantees are worthless, they mean absolutely nothing.
Do you REALLY think they would allow a negative testimonial in their commercial?

Has it ever OCCURRED to you people to try to get these goods or services LOCALLY first? And if you CAN'T get it LOCALLY, you DON'T REALLY need it.

It looks like almost all the companies, anymore, are getting on the SCAM bandwagon, (Price line, Pro Flowers, a lot of the major banks) except the LOCAL ones. They have to FACE their customers in person or face the possibility of GETTING HURT BAD. How many of these SCAMMERS would do this if they knew they would have to face their victims in person?
