I broke the arm connection to my $700 pair of progressive glasses and I was going on vacation 2 days later. I asked them if they could fix them and they immediately said no and to trash the glasses. They said they would sell me new ones and got the prescription from my doctor. I told them I would only buy them if they could have them ready before I went on vacation. They said yes! I picked out a similar frameless pair. They then told me that it would be $1, 293 before tax or over $1400. I said no way. The woman then said "how about $999". I said no. Then she said " how about $900". I reluctantly said yes if they could have the glasses before I went to Florida. The next day, she called me and said she couldn't do it until the following week when I was already on vacation. They already swiped my card. So I went back to the store and took my broken glasses back. My first day in Florida I walked into an eyeglass store that thank God fixed my glasses in 15 minutes and refused payment. I have complained to Crissy Snow at Cohen's customer service (that's an oxymoron) and she told me she would call me back that day. That was 2 weeks ago and haven't heard back yet. Now she refuses to take my calls and return any of my numerous calls and voice mails. I even emailed her at [protected]@cohens.bz and have not heard back. The company is a sham. Don't ever go to these stores. There are so many better and much cheaper options. BTW, I disputed the charge and AMEX is still fighting with these people. Beware of this company. They lied two times to me in the course of 10 minutes then Crissy of CS lied to me once again. What a joke. I will go on every site and let people know what a sham this company is.
