I talked to these people in October about my outstanding debt with the IRS and the State of California Franchise Tax board. In our discussions they were adamant that they would be able to significantly reduce the amount owed. They would also be able to stop the current garnishing of my paycheck by the state.

I paid them up front, which was a major mistake, as 6 months later, they accomplished nothing. They continually asked for more money, claiming that my 'retainer' was empty. Apparently, them calling me asking for more money all the time was expensive.

I ended up paying my entire debt to the state, including all interest and penalties. This was in spite of the fact they thought it would be an open and shut case, to get the interest and penalties abated. I would have been happy with a partial abatement. Not $1 of valuable work was done by these liars.

To make matters worse, they debited my checking account for $3000 without my authorization.

Steer clear of liars and thieves.

I hooked up with these guys in August, it is now November and I have not received anything for the money I paid and now they want more money. I have already paid $3500. It is gone. What a scam. Do not think for a minute these people are there to help. If there is any class action against them. Even if I need to throw away moore money I think it will be worth it. I plan to complain to anyone who will listen. If anyone has any ideas on what I can do contact me at davemattingly4157@att.net

I am wondering how many of the people here that have made complaints, have also contacted the Better Business Bureau of Denver of which Clear Creek Consulting is a member. BBB has a dispute resolution process, and reports to the public the performance of companies.

I worked at Clear Creek Consulting about four years ago for a short period. I was fresh out of college and was told that CCC was a company that helped individuals/businesses resolve their tax liabilities. One thing I can say about this company is they ABSOLUTELY do not care about resolving your financial woes, all they want is YOUR MONEY!

I am aware of several unethical business practices (TOO MANY TO LIST) used at this organization and would be more than happy to assist in any way possible to ensure that decent people are not taken advantage of by these clowns again.

They have not gotten rich by resolving your tax issues, instead, CCC strings you along by filing extensions and communicating with tax authorities that they are working with you to resolve your liabilities. This initial approach allows CCC to keep the tax authorities off of your backs momentarily so they can dissolve your retainer quickly with empty promises and continually ask you for more money.

I have seen too many people taken advantage of by Brandon Cope, Chris Markwell, Rian Peonio, Richard Ellis and the rest of the cowardly colleagues at Clear Crook Consulting. It takes a special kind of low life to drain honsest people of their money, especially people that are already having problems staying afloat. I paid them $1000 and was to be through in 1 month. To my knowledge they really didn't do anything and I guess calling you to leave a message, costs $7 to $28 each time. Asking for a log of what was done which was sent email cost me $200. I sure wish I made that kind of money for doing nothing. They wanted more money and I wouldn't give any. I am now paid off to IRS but penalties were not abated.

Im interested in class action against this company. I have successfully sued numerous companies on my own over the years and am preparing to do so agains this boiler room operation.

Okay, I received a check from Clear Creek Consulting for only $750! It was sent to the WRONG address, and should have been closer to $3000! I called CCC and asked why I only received a check for $750, Brandon Cope called and left a message that their "legal team" determined that no refund was due, but he talked them into giving me $750! NO, THAT IS NOT ENOUGH TO SATISFY ME! Where's the REST of the refund? I think another $2250 is due to be refunded! And to the correct address!

WOW! They get paid $3500, do a little over $500 worth(?) of work and then there's NO REFUND due? Something's not right there!

I don't call this settling differences! If I don't receive the rest of the refund by this Thursday, I'm back in the class action lawsuit!

Brandon Cope, Executive Vice President of Clear Creek Consulting, has contacted me with a resolution to settle our differences and has agreed to issue a refund. We have agreed to settle our differences.
