Breeder has bred this pair before twice and eye etropian is being passed down to the puppies genetically and she is still breeding the same two dogs with knowing this information from last litter. This is Bad Breeding Ethics in Breeders. The sire owner just purchased a 4 year old ### with the same problem and had the eye surgery done on the ### which he bought her like that to breed and pass those genetics to others again. Please do your home work on this genetic defect before you buy from these two breeders that are passing this to innocent buyers that do not know any better. Very nice people though, but just a bad thing to do to others. GRCA needs to be aware of this especially if they are members.
The person who bought 2 puppies and is complaining and falsely spreading lies lives in NC. She is the one who did this initial complaint too.. She had no issues with the male as she used him for breeding. The second puppy I ended up refunding her for, as she used a leaf blower to blow at the puppies saying they liked it and caused entropian in her eyes. As per contract she was supposed to pay for the flight in full if returning but I ended up paying for 1/2 to get her back to me. So she was fully refunded for the puppy plus 1/2 of the flight home. When puppy came back her actions showed that she had been abused. When I told the woman I wanted nothing more to do with her after all was done she started harassing me like this. I've found multiple breeders that I have become friends with across the country that she has done this too. That puppy was given (for free) to a past puppy client and I paid for the surgery to fix what that abusive woman did to her. As per bad genetics claim, my vet said even if that woman hadn't caused the entropian that more than one puppy in a litter would have it if it was bad genetics. She has told people I'm a puppy mill. I have 1 dog that I breed in my home, in my kitchen with many pictures and people to back that up.
She emailed me harassing me after I posted every litter. Faking names, faking claims, when potential clients for her litters would call if they were from New York she would curse at them thinking I sent them, and I only know this because one of them called me to tell me that another breeder just bad mouthed me and used foul derogatory language at him for absolutely no reason. Its been years and I just saw these comments today so I needed to speak up.
I want to thank the real legitimate puppy clients/ friends for saying like it really is. They are my fur babies. I have refunded deposits when my gut told me it wasn't a good home. I get pictures from so many of my fur babies families and they are wonderful! Spoiled pups with phenomenal lives who are truly blessed to have the pet parents that they do. I'm sad for the first boy that ended up staying with her as I did not know she was abusive until after getting Lexi back. They were the only pups that were shipped somewhere and not picked up. Sadly you live and learn. GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND YOUR FUR BABIES!
Years later and a SECOND dog from Maya's litters, and we are so happy we found Debbie. What a blessing. The most wonderful dogs ever.

What is really odd is that a breeder bought 2 from this lady back to back litters. Her male only had 1 testicle and her female had a cataracts in her eye at only 4 mos old. Don't forget they were both bought as breeding dogs and neither could be used and no money was refunded back to them and they lost out on both dogs from Debbie Clark. So you missed contacting the other 2 buyers that bought a puppy from this breeder that could have given you the vet proof that you needed. Bad genetics do pass in both these parents. Now Debbie Clark is breeding the same parents as senior citizens so watch out for bad genetics in old the semen used and the old senior eggs with the offspring's they may carry.
After doing a search to find (again) the website for Clark Meadow Goldens, i noticed a link mentioning "Complaints" . I had to investigate and proceeded to the page. I just had to know what possible issues there could be with Debbie and her puppies. And the reason why is i am a owner of a Clark Meadow Goldens puppy from Maya's last litter. In fact, i was going to their website to find out infomation on some future litters; as we are contemplating getting a "brother or sister" ! I am not quite sure how this complaint is warranted, especially based on our puppy. We have a wonderful, perfect, healthy puppy and absolutely no issues (including eyes). It seems like others are in agreement with me and have wonderful, terrific pups! I will have ZERO reservations buying another puppy from Debbie. Actually, i am looking forward to a new member of the family someday!

I do not know who exactly posted this complaint about Debbie, the owner, but I can assure anyone who is considering getting a puppy that she is very VERY responsible, reliable, and trustworthy! There is probably MUCH more to the story that she is negleting to mention. I have a 10-month old puppy from her and he is in excellent health, the very best family dog with the sweetest temperment!
Also, I just have to laugh at the complaint posting - Do you get the feeling, based on the TERRIBLE grammar and spelling, that the writer was a 14 year old? Or maybe just some uneducated, vindictive, irrational, resentful "adult" throwing a temper tantrum? I'm guessing the latter.
Any person with any VALID complaint would also have the common sense to know that, if he or she does not portray himself or herself online as a sensible and rational human being, no one is really going to take you seriously. It simply undermines credibility.
The dogs are fine. In fact, they're WONDERFUL, as is Debbie. Don't let one bad posting taint your impression of Clark Meadow Goldens. The empty vessel often makes the loudest sound. ;)
I don't know where you got this information from about this Breeder, but I know this is false. I bought from one of the litters and we have a healthy 100 lb male. I have had nothing but compliments on how beautiful and healthy he is. The vet, trainer, and groomer have only given me praises on what a good disposition he has. Clark Meadows cares about their pups because the breeder keeps in touch with you and wants to see and know how her pups are. Through my years I have had different breeds and dealt with different breeder, but never met anyone like Debbie Clark. She is very knowledgable and caring about her dogs and pups. Our Ziggy is our bride and joy! We are actually thinking about getting another one from Clark Meadows Goldens.

I bought from Clark Meadows last litter. It was a great purchase. We had my males eyes CERF tested by an opthamologist and they were normal. There were no signs of any issues. Debbie is very easy to deal with and has become a good and caring friend of mine since I met her after purchasing my male. I am thrilled with my male. I think he is perfect in every way!

That's odd! i purchased a puppy from Clark Meadow Goldens from the second litter and we are so pleased with everything! Before we decided on buying from them, i insisted in contacting some of the buyers from the first litter. Without hesitation, Debbie gave me all the names and number of the 8 buyers! We proceeded to call and get ahold of 6 of them. Every single one of them did nothing but praise everything about Clark Meadow Goldens! All were estatic with the demenor and health of their puppies. Being this was to be a very important (and costly) purchase for us, we had zero hesitation after speaking to these owners. And, like those owners, we are 110% pleased with every aspect of our puppy and the professionalism of Debbie Clark. If the time arises when we want another English Golden and have the money, our pup would have a new brother or sister from them!
