According to www.ripoff.com, this company is completely bogus and hires you to sell insurance only after you pay them money to become licensed. I sent them an email which asked whether the salary was only based on commission or if was a base salary plus commission.
This was their response:
Pays 150, 000 a year base plus company car, medical benefits, bonus's that
can exceed your base, company trips. Last year Hawaii the year before
Caribbean cruise !
I decided not to call them or schedule an interview.
I hope this helps!
This complaint seems bogus. I currently just got hired on about a month ago and the company is nothing like you have complained about. There is a start up fee, but it is to get your insurance license because you are an independent contractor...just as any other independent contractor position that requires a license you are usually responsible for getting your own license. Other than that i highly doubt they would have offered you a base salary or company car cause they do not offer anyone this.
