On this date 10/14/2010 Antonio Mantilla and I, Tabitha Mantilla went to see hearing officer Michael Sullivan as we enter we raise our right hand to be sworn in. When Mr. Sullivan ask for Antonio's pay check stub he gave it to him then Mr. Sullivan ask if both boys are his and Tony answer yes, then we started with what Tony makes and about health ins. then I, Tabitha ask about the bills since I can not work I have an autistic son who is constanly sick and Tony said Im lazy to the hearing officer and the hearing officer ask if Tony took anything this morning cause he was irate remember this is being recorded, then the hearing officer ask what I need and I explain in this 15 year marriage Antonio pays when he wants to, he has a CDL class A and works for a Freight Company the Hearing Officer Sullivan said YOUR NOT A MILLIONARE PEOPLE THAT COME TO CHILDSUPPORT HAVE NO MONEY so basiclly he's insulting my intelligence then when he went to calculate
the gross income then Sullivan wanted to take out min wage cause I dont work due to my autistic son and I stop him cause by law I DONT HAVE TO WORK so he fix that when he finish calculating the sum was wrong cause that check Tony gave them was the latest one and there are days he works 5 or 4 his pay flexuates and instead of looking at the 2 or 3 years of W-2 forms which I ask him Sullivan, he stated that HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS CASE TO DISCUSS IT IN DIVORCE COURT which I have no money to do that cause Antonio left all the bills with me and I DONT KNOW WHERE THE BOYS ARE ME GOING TO LIVE . I ALREDAY DO ECONOMICAL, IN BUDGETING HOUSEHOLD EXPENDITURES. Antonio does not he dont care and that hearing officer did not help either. I find that going to Broward County Courts that these hearing officers or judges in the family law treat the women like were nothing and they dont want to put effort in the case cause they dont get paid enough. This is my second time a WHITE MALE JUDGE VIOLATED MY HUMAN RIGHTS IN BROWARD COUNTY.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I agree he is disrespectful to women. He allow my ex husband to do what ever he want since 2011. Mr Collins as not paid child support since August of 2015 and the judge keep allowing Mr Collins Attorney to get a continuance. While Mr Collins is bragging about the Tractor trailer the Benz and the $200000 worth of equipment he buy to start is own business in court on record. Mr Collins have money to pay an attorney but he can not pay $ 416. bi weekly. Mr Sullivan act as if I have done some thing to him personally and the $416 is coming out of is pocket. He allow Mr Collins to keeping filing motion after motion and Mr Collins do not show up for most of them. I Miss work a lot to the point where my Job is in JEOPARDY. I have max out my credit card and have 3 loans against my 401 k. I do not understand how this is fair this judge as VIOLATE MY RIGHTS AS A WOMAN, A PARENT, AND AS A CITIZEN OF THIS COUNTRY. THE RULE OF LAW STATES NO ONE IS ABOUT THE LAW IT IS WRITTEN IN THE CONSTITUTION. General Magistrate Michael Sullivan AS TAKEN THE LAW INTO HIS OWN HANDS. I WORK HARD I AM NOT ASKING FOR NO MORE WHAT IS OWED TO THE CHILDREN IT IS NOT ABOUT MR COLLINS OR MYSELF IT IS ABOUT MY CHILDREN. WHICH IS BY THE WAY HONOR ROLL STUDENTS. BUT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS JUDGE IS PUNISHING ME FOR BEING A STRONG BLACK WOMAN WHO WORK.
It's not just because he's white. I'm white and he was such a jerk to me back in February when my son's father and I had our first hearing about child support modification. Being 2 states away, I was telephone-conferenced into the hearing. All I could hear was an an echo when I spoke. Sullivan thought I was attempting to speak OVER him, so he hung up on me. I called back in and had to beg to be put back through. This man was so rude. And YES, he hates women. It was obvious that he does.
