I had the product installed on my home about 15 years ago, it had to be re done after about 8 months. Now in 2020 I have replaced about the entire siding and trim work on my home due to rot and peeling. The product has found small nail holes or expansion contraction cracking in the siding and trim and has allowed water to enter over the years and totally rotted the siding. the liquid vinyl I guess you could say did its job held the water in and you couldn't tell really until you started working on it, then it was where do you stop replacing siding. I wish I would ever have had it installed
The very same thing happened to me. I had it done in 2005. It started bubbling right away. Liquacoat of CT was so terrible to work with. They didn't respond to calls, emails, etc. I paid $17, 000 with a lifetime warranty and then they went out of business. Now I am spending thousands of dollars to have my siding replaced. Each time the carpenter replaces the rotted wood, he finds more and more wood that needs to be replaced. This was a horrific experience for me and caused me so much anxiety.
Why didn’t they do the warranty work? We just had a fellow here giving us a quote.
