I placed the order with them on 7th Dec.2008 for a graphics tablet which was intended for a Christmas present.They took the £67.41 from my account on 12th Dec.2008 and claimed the item had been despatched on
the 10th Dec and would be delivered between 17th - 23rd Dec. It didn't arrive nor did a replacement they claimed to have sent.
I demanded a refund but they didn't respond until I quoted THE CONSUMER PROTECTION (DISTANCE SELLING) REGULATIONS 2000 to
them.They then said a refund had been processed but to allow 30 days to allow for it to be transferred to my account. It never has been and all the attempts to contact them by email or telephone, including a recorded delvery letter, has been in vain.
I thought they may have ceased trading so I did an internet search for them and was shocked by the number of complaints from people having similar problems. The only people who seemed to have got refunds were ones who had been able to involve their credit card company. Unfortunately for me I used a debit card and the amount was less than £100.00!
