Catalonia Royal Bavaro Dominican Republic review: Disappointing and not worth the money.

Well what can say. Probably one if not the worst holiday experiences I have ever had. Lethargic and inattentive staff, if your español is not perfect expect to be overlooked and be served last at the bar even if you were first. Some corporate visits while we were there and they obviously got preferential treatment. 4 or 5 staff for 2 tables and 1 for the rest of the restaurant. Activities only available when it suits the hotel and cancelled at the drop of a hat. Archery only at 3pm. Hottest time of the day. Club Med you turn up anytime. Your hotel is over staffed but you cannot organise this. You prefer your exclusive guests and functions to a point where you are chased out of venues before closing to set up for events. I will never stay at any of your resorts again and I will share my thoughts far and wide on social media. 5 star? Not even close.
