I purchased windows and doors from Castle Windows several years ago mainly because they offered a life-time warranty.
I just received a post card indicating that to maintain the life-time warranty I had to call them at 800-360-4400. Really? If I don’t call, my account will be archived.
So, to Castle Windows a life-time warranty really isn’t a life-time warranty. Apparently to them, a life-time warranty is only until we archive your account.
I spent a great deal of money on my windows and doors and expect the life-time warranty to last at least as long as I do.
When I called to speak with the president, who I had spoken with some years ago, and lost his telephone number, I was given a great deal of grief by his staff. You ask a question of them and they are simply unable to answer a simple question. Nor can Castle’s staff transfer you as you request.
Am I regretting my choice? Maybe.
