CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings Weinberg mediation group, llc, amherst, ny 14226, jmt capital management, llc and cashnet usa for debt collection tactics

We have been contacted by Weinberg Mediation Group twice and e-mailed an account balance payment agreement for $1, 000.00 that they say our son received in 2016 and paid 4 payments on and then quit paying and that he now owes over $1500.00 but they will settle for $1, 000.00 and then he won't have to go to court and pay a huge amount for court costs, etc. Our son denies any such occurrence. We believe him. Original Lender is Cashnet USA and then it was purchased by JMT Capital Management, LLC and then to Weinberg to collect according to the information on the letter. I have contacted the FTC, the BBB and the Attorney General's office in NY state to get information on these companies and the FTC informed me that no way should we be contacted about anyone else's supposed debt when that person is a mature adult. I am going to refuse payment of any kind and let them know it is unlawful for them to be contacting us. I don't know how people get all this personal information, such as our relation to Steve, and they even called his sister, Cheryl, in Highmore and tried to collect from her. There has to be some way to stop this type of thing!

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings Unethical behavior, unprofessional

This morning I received a TEXT from "Jeffrey Clark" HIS NUMBER is
[protected], representing CashNetUSA. He was offering me a LOAN for $5000.00-$7000.00. I returned his call and a man with an Indian accent answered the phone with children noises in the backround. "Jeffrey" asked me for the last four numbers of my Social Security number and for my bank account number. I told "Jeffrey" that I was not interested in the LOAN,

Latter in the day I have received two more calls from "Jeffrey" from 'restricted" and 'unknown caller" numbers. I answered the phone and it was the same caller that I spoke with earlier in the morning with the same background noise offering me the same $5000.00 LOAN from CashNetUsa. I asked about the interest rates and about the payback time allowed. Then told "Jeffrey" that I was not interested in the LOAN.
"Jeffrey's reply to me was "[censor] YOU!" and "[censor] OFF!" and he hung up on me.

I would not use CashNetUSA if they offered me a $100, 000.00 LOAN at 2% interest for 36 months. If they call me again I will report them.

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings cashnetusa debited an unauthorized debit of money from bank account.

CashNetUSA debited an unauthorized amount of $80.00 from my checking account on July 18, 2016. I called CashNetUSA to update my pay day scheduled prior to this unauthorized debit. On July 19, 2016 my husband who is a "Disabled Veteran" and I also spoke with a "Supervisor" named "Trenton B." (He would not give us his last name), did not apologize for this but reluctantly refunded the $80.00 back to our "Joint Checking Account". "Trenton B." told me and my husband that going forward these unauthorized debits would not happen again. Also that I needed to call CashNetUSA to remind them not to debit any monies for the balance owed until my next scheduled pay period which was July 25, 2016 and August 11, 2016 with the final debit for the remaining balance on September 3, 2016 due to the "Labor Day" holiday which falls on September 5, 2016. On July 25, 2016, CashNetUSA debited $80.00.
I called CashNetUSA on July 30, 2016 and July 31, 2016 to remind them that my next scheduled pay day was August 11, 2016. I was told that they had my updated pay day and they would debit $80.00 on August 11, 2016 which they did. My balance was $102, 08 after the debit. But my account showed that my next debit due date was August 15, 2016 instead of August 22, 2016. On August 15, 2016 CashNetUSA debited my account in the amount $90.00 which caused our checking account to be "Overdrawn" by the amount of ($92.41). I called CashNetUSA on August 15, 2016 to advise them of the "Unauthorized" debit of $90.00.
The "Customer Reps" told me they had no record of me sending them my updated pay scheduled. I ask to speak to a "Supervisor" and she also told me that there was no record of my updated pay period that I sent to them via email on July19, 2016. But I have a return email from "Trenton B." the first "Supervisor" that I spoke with on July 19, 2016 acknowledging he had received my updated pay dates. The "Supervisor" said that it was nothing they can do about the "Unauthorized" debit because per CashNetUSA it was scheduled for August 15, 2016 instead of August 22, 2016. My current is $12.08. But we have been caused great financial harm and our checking account could be closed because of this "Unauthorized" debit.
I want all "Consumers" in the United States that have seen the commercials on TV or the internet regarding the ease of borrowing money from CashNetUSA, DO NOT BORROW MONEY FROM THIS COMPANY! They use fraudulent business practices to us the "Consumers" that reside in United States. I believe because we are near the end of paying this deceptive, deceitful business called "CashNetUSA" they want to drag this out by using the above described unsavory business practices to keep in an endless web of "Emotional Distress" and "Financial Hardship". We have found the hard way. Do Not Use this company or any other "Pay Day Loan" company to borrow money from. This may happen to you.

It's important for potential borrowers to review the terms and understand the financial commitments associated with these types of loans.

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings In-depth Review

In summary: CashNetUSA, a brand of CNU Online Holdings, offers a range of short-term loan products to individuals in need of quick financial assistance. While the company provides a convenient online application process and fast approval times, potential borrowers should be aware of the high-interest rates and fees associated with their loan products. The ease of use of their website and customer service options are positive aspects, but it's important to consider the overall cost before taking out a loan with CashNetUSA.

Company Overview: CashNetUSA has been in operation since 2004, providing short-term loans to individuals in need of quick financial assistance. They offer payday loans, installment loans, and lines of credit to customers across various states in the U.S.

Loan Products: CashNetUSA's main products include payday loans, which are short-term loans designed to be repaid by the next payday; installment loans that can be paid back over a longer period; and lines of credit that work similarly to credit cards but with a set borrowing limit.

Application Process: Applicants must meet certain eligibility criteria, such as having an active checking account and being employed. Required documentation typically includes proof of income and personal identification. The online application is straightforward, and approval can be granted quickly, often within minutes.

Interest Rates and Fees: The APR range for CashNetUSA loans is quite high compared to traditional bank loans, and there are additional fees for origination, late payments, and non-sufficient funds transactions. The exact rates and fees vary by state and product.

Repayment Terms: Loan repayment periods vary depending on the type of loan and state regulations. CashNetUSA offers various payment options, including electronic withdrawal and paying by check. They also have a policy for early repayment, which may allow borrowers to save on interest.

Customer Service: CashNetUSA provides customer support through phone, email, and live chat. Their responsiveness is generally good, with customer support hours covering most of the day.

User Experience: The website is user-friendly, making it easy for customers to navigate and apply for loans. They also offer a mobile app for more convenient management of loan applications and repayments. Customer reviews are mixed, with some praising the service and others criticizing the high costs.

Financial Education Resources: CashNetUSA offers educational tools and resources on their website, providing financial tips and advice to help customers make informed decisions.

Security and Privacy: The company uses data encryption and other security measures to protect customer information. Their privacy policy is transparent, detailing how personal data is collected, used, and shared.

Regulatory Compliance: CashNetUSA is licensed and regulated in the states where it operates, complying with both federal and state laws regarding short-term loans.

Pros and Cons: Advantages of choosing CashNetUSA include the quick application process and fast funding. However, potential drawbacks are the high-interest rates and fees, which can make these loans an expensive option.

Alternatives and Competitors: There are numerous other lending services available, and CashNetUSA competes by offering fast and convenient loan approvals. However, it's important for consumers to compare rates and terms to find the best option for their needs.

Final Verdict: CashNetUSA is a viable option for those in need of quick cash and who are aware of the high costs associated with short-term loans. It is recommended for users who can repay the loan quickly to avoid accumulating high-interest charges.

FAQs: Common questions about CashNetUSA services include inquiries about loan eligibility, repayment terms, and the total cost of borrowing.

Update and Disclosure Notices: Any recent changes in terms or services will be disclosed on the CashNetUSA website. Additionally, the company will inform users of any affiliate links or sponsored content.
