Carpet One Floor & Home review: wrong carpet

We purchased a carpet from the Carpet One store on Airport Freeway in Ft Worth in 2008. It had a 20 yr warranty with a 10 year stain warranty. After the third year a stain appeared that would not clean with professional cleaning. After the fourth year it was getting bad, but because of a surgery I could not do much about it. This past year I decided to get new carpeting. At first I was not going back to Carpet One, but then decided to see what they would do about it. The store had closed so the corporate office recommended I call the store on I-20. At first they were only going to give me 50% of the carpet value minus installation. I wrote a complaint to Better Business and the Carpet One corporate office and conglomerate office. It was then the store said they would take off the original price and let me buy another carpet minus the original price.
I chose a much more expensive carpet for which I paid more than double. When it was delivered it was not the grade I paid for. There were 3 levels of the style; I paid for the top grade and received the bottom grade. The store manager agreed it was not what I ordered and was supposedly going to call the mill to find out what happened. Only 3 days later the "new" carpet had arrived from Georgia to Texas. Another carpet store told me that was highly unlikely. The "new" order was still wrong...exactly like the first one sent. I called and told the manager I wanted my money back. He said it would take about a week. I told him it was a charge that had already been processed and he could credit it to my account. He finally did credit it (I am now waiting to see the credit posted on my credit account from 5 days ago). I feel this was all "bait and switch". I started this the end of March; it is now mid July and I have finally ordered carpet from another place.
