I hired carpet mill hamilton to lay down new carpet and vinyl for my brother home based in hamilton.
I made such a big mistake i went to make the full payment without visiting the property and after making the payment when i went to the home i saw whole of the kitchen floorboard having bumps and bubbles and it was looking horrible. vinyl ordered was most expensive one they had at their showroom.
On my complaint carpet mill manager Mr.Mike visited the property and used his professional sales tricks and convinced us that builder who installed new kitchen floor board did not used enough staples and glue when i contacted back with the builder he replied he worked as per regulations set by the NZ flooring federation and he used maximum possible glue and nails / staples .
we are extremely upset and disappointed quality of work they supplied along with customer service provided by this company on this complaint, we were hoping as big company they will stand back and help us to resolve this matter instead of doing this they sent us a new voice for installation of new vinyl from scratch . Horrible response
we will contact them again if they cooperate us otherwise we will be contacted with our lawyer as well as with dispute tribunal for help .
HI just to follow up this matter, this issue was resolved months ago . After visiting the site Carpet Mill Manager came up with reasonable resolution that it is mutual mistake done by our builder as well as some points were ignore by installer, he should have checked the floor before installing the vinyl. Without charging any thing else, Carpet Mill replaced the whole kitchen floor board and installed the new Vinyl . I am very happy with the quality and speed of work, within few hours they transformed the whole kitchen . I will not hesitate to recommend this company to other customers .
