Care.com charged my Premium Quarterly plan $78.63 for 7 straight quarters over 18 months and never sent a single renewal email, receipt, or reminder. I only found out when I reviewed my bank statements and cancelled immediately. When I asked for a refund, support cited their "non-refundable" policy and refused. Their careteam@care.com email address isn't even monitored, it just auto-replies that the inbox is dead. My bank ended up reversing the two charges it could. If you subscribe, set your own calendar reminder to cancel, because they will never remind you.
1 star, obviously.
Recommendation: Do not use

Seven silent renewals is not a subscription, it is a trap. Send Care.com one written demand with all seven charge dates, ask for proof that renewal notices were sent, and give them 7 days to refund. Then file complaints with the FTC and your state attorney general, attaching your bank records. Push your bank to dispute every charge still inside its window, not just two. Save the dead inbox auto reply as evidence, and keep your cancellation confirmation. You already caught them, now make it expensive for them to ignore you.
