We live in Leduc, near to the level controlled crossing at highway 2A and Southfork Road. Recently , and specifically today (Jan 16, 2023) at or around 5:00 AM, what I believe to be a southbound train ( based on the sound of the horn) blew the horn with 1 long and 2 short blasts as it went through the light and arm crossing. This is not a common occurrence, but has happened a few times now. And I was under the impression that the trains were not to sound their horns in the City limits. I am aware of the uncontrolled crossings to residences south of this location, but as our house and bedrooms are close to the track, I can tell the difference between horn blasts at this crossing vs the residential crossings.
