Cal-Am Properties review: Be cautious

I purchased a new home in Las Vegas, 55+ restricted community. Within one year my AC broke, despite me having a 1-year bumper to bumper warranty they did not repair the AC and said the AC is not covered. In addition, the 55+ restricted community has residents well below 55 years, including convicted felons and we recently had a resident stabbed who is in the age of 55. Property Management office does not follow or respond to emails, and when you go into the office the routine statement is " we didn't know anything".
