Mr. Lube Canada - Lube, oil & filters
My son took our car to Mr Lube in Whitby, ON on Dec 1. 2022.
The oil pan plug was not replaced properly (believe the washer wasn’t replaced) which caused the plug to fall out and oil being expelled, resulting in the engine to seize on the highway. My son was driving. I contacted them immediately after having the car towed to my mechanic and the mechanics all came to the same conclusion.
They certainly have not done anything to rectify the error that occurred on Dec 12th, over a month ago. They have had the district manager go to the mechanics as well as the insurance adjuster. No response or resolution yet.
Desired outcome: A new engine due to negligence. Should have been given a rental vehicle as well as reimbursed for the unprofessional oil change.

Mr. Lube Canada - Changing over to winter tires
went into Mr. Lube on Dundas Street, Whitby to have my winter tires changed over. Our summer tires had to come off the rims to put our winter tires on. They proceeded to do this and when they had all 4 off, they told us that the winter tires were no good... They still charged us for this, although put it down to only charging for two. We feel that we should not have been charged for any of them, as they did not inspect our winter tires first, and Mr. Lube states that they have a free of charge tire inspection, which they obviously did not do... I want a refund for this unfair charge...
