I purchased a sofa from Leon's back in March 2016 and the salesperson convinced me to purchase a "Platinum Protection Plan" claiming that it extended the warranty on the sofa to 5 years. Recently the handle to put up the leg rest on one side of the couch broke. I pulled out my warranty, called the 1800 number on it and got to a company called Zucora. They informed me that the warranty actually only covered "accidental damage to the leather or fabric" and I had to talk to Leon's directly about the frame or mechanism's.
So I called Leon's and the I'm told that the warrant on the actual sofa was only 1 year! Very frustrating and I'm quite angry that I paid that extra money for the extended warranty only to discover it was just empty words.
Whatever you do, don't do business with Leons.

When the machine is run, it leaks at the bottom. This happened last week on Friday on June 28th & we are no longer able to use it. I have tried to call you twice on July 04 & today July 5th & was put on hold for several minutes. This I need to get it repaired. I have extended warranty I need someone to call me immediately. Leon's Furniture - sectional with chase - delivered without the feet for the chase portion
Purchased on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. Delivers on Saturday, March 30, 2019. At the time of delivery we discussed with the delivery/set-up men (2) that the ‘chase' portion of the sectional were missing the appropriate feet (I.e. not in line with the rest of the sectional due to the missing feet). We anticipated to a call back from the store, but no to avail. I contacted the store on Tuesday, April 2nd and spoke to the salesman directly ‘Francisco'. The salesman immediately redirected the blame to me, advising I had 72 hours to complain. I couldn't believe my ears. I immediately reacted by reminding him that it is not our fault that Leon's performed a delivery with the missing feet for the chase portion I.e. missing feet not DAMAGED GOODS. In addition, I was making the call to him within the 72 hours. I just knew, this was just going to be beginning of an going situation. I spoke to their Customer Service on April 2nd and April 9th (Joy/Joyce) and In both discussions, I was advised the feet for the chase had been ordered. It late evening on Wednesday, April 17th and I have not heard back from Leon's and/or their Customer Service. As a result, I still have no feet for the chase portion of the sectional. As the chase portion has no feet, it is not hooked to the Sectional portion, and thus most uncomfortable to sit. Regardless of the fact I am a pensioner, I am left thinking ‘Leon's' took my money and ran. The response given by the salesman (Francisco) was grossly irresponsible and negligent. The order number: 03199ETTXCB. I can attached a photo snap of the sectional via the Leon's website, it clearly shows their should be feet on the chase portion.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
