Hello,
I originally booked a trip in 2020, cancelled and rebooked due to Covid travel restrictions twice. It was never clear that the air transat credits were per person, making me out of pocket close to $1000 even after applying credits. Finally we book a vacation with credits and some $ for March 2022. We are to travel the Saturday morning, while attempting my online check-in the night before I keep getting an error message. I had booked through Charmaine Dunn, Edmonton office, and she advised that the booking had been cancelled in February but that the email had been missed by her in her inbox. I was never advised. She was very helpful in getting us another booking, it was super expensive but I paid for it upfront. She managed to partially reimburse me with credits but I am still out of pocket $1500. Had I been advised properly at the time of the booking cancellation, I would have had time to rebook at a reasonable amount. Now because of timing we had to book last minute and I paid $6500 due to an employees error for something that was maybe worth $3000.
Desired outcome: look at my file and reimburse me some credits, that would be fair. Because of an employee error I end up having to use all of my credits, be out of pocket, I feel ripped off. I think there is a fairly simple fair solution.
