Canadian Tire

During the Covid lockdown I purchased several Soda Stream CO2 chargers that I picked up outside the Canadian Tire store in Napanee. At that time I was unable to return the chargers and paid another core charge. This happened three times.

On Tuesday last I found myself in Belleville where I purchased another Soda Stream CO2 charger and wanted to return the extra chargers at the same time.

The cashier rang up my purchases and as I was paying for it I realised that it seemed I was paying quite a bit for having returned three empty chargers at $16 apiece. He then told me that he could only take one core off because "the computer wouldn't give him a choice". I mentioned that I had returned more than one before, so it is possible. He seemed dumbfounded by this, so I suggested he get a manager. After a few minutes I packed up the chargers and told him I should probably go to Customer Care. At this time another cashier piped up to say that they couldn't take back more than one but he could give me "a dollar apiece for each one" and that "it's not up to us - it's the supplier". In short, he looked me in the eye and lied to me. It turns out this was a manager who was lying to me.

I told the manager that I had returned more than one charger at Canadian Tire Napanee and that it had never been a problem but he was adamant on giving me a dollar.

Having worked at Canadian Tire Perth for over 5 years I know how core charges work. I also know that as the stores are independently owned franchises there are some good and some really bad stores - CT Carlton Place being a particularly nasty one - and Belleville's staff are particularly obnoxious. The same day I was given incorrect info and surly attitude from a woman at one of the key accessory stations.

Needless to say, I will never set foot in Canadian Tire Belleville again, and I'm considering cancelling my Credit Card as well. There are plenty of options for disposable Chinese-made goods so it would be no great effort on my part to shop elsewhere.

Brought my 2014 mazda 3 gs sky in for a tire patch my name is krysten hemphill my vehicles and information is in the system I always service my vehicles here. I am extremely unsatisfied with this work. I clean my car daily and clean my rims and tires daily with special car products I actually buy from your store. This car cane from the dealership less than 90 days ago with 10/10 rims. I use a microfiber cloth and shine them when done, I brought them for a patch and you guys returned my rims dinged and scratched. The oil resin and gel I didnt mind I cleaned that off this morning but the dings and scratched are you kidding me. This should be compensated! I will not be bringing my vehicles here anymore!
