After selecting products to purchase I then had to wait several minutes for the cashier (Name tag: Chris) to acknowledge I was standing there. She was taking what sounded like a personal phone call. Once served I was denied purchase due to a scanning issue. The CSA's tone of voice was arrogant and rude. Having worked in customer service and retail this treatment is unacceptable and I felt disrespected having to wait to be served without any communication or apologies. I asked why I was denied purchase and I was told "I can't sell you this" again asking why I was told "I'm not selling this". The item was a baked good, not a tobacco or lottery product.
As a regular customer at this store I have never been treated like this before this individual was hired.
