April 26th, me and my husband was home after he had open heart surgery. I had a prescription to fill out for my husband who I left alone to do this. I gave Tamara my prescription and explained the situation. She arrogantly said they were to busy and my prescription wouldn't be available that night and maybe even the next day. She said I should go get in refilled at another drug store. I told her my husband was at home alone and I couldn't run around town to find another pharmacy. I've been a customer at Shoppers for as long I can remember and couldn't believe how I was treated. I said I would take my chances. The next day I called was on the line for 2 hours without getting threw. I had to call my sister for her to go check.. Thankfully it was ready and she paid and brought it to me. At this difficult time in our lives I certainly didn't need such arrogance and disrespect. Today I went to talk to the manager and explain the situation. He said that this person was on her last week of work. He also said that they were extremely busy because of the surge of population in our area. I understand this because a lot of apartments building have been put up in our area. Maybe they should add more staff. I have never put a complaint in my life. I wasn't going there for a loaf of bread but necessary medication. P.S. that day they were short a employee who had called in sick.
