We moved from St Stephen, NB to Claresholm, AB. Our salesman was Paul Coyle who works for All World Moving out of St John, NB. This salesman out and out lied and is a poor representation of the company. 1) Paul on several occasions told us that we could bring empty propane tanks and aerosol cans in our move. This is a lie. At NO time can you bring these items and the trucker was very quick to ensure we did not have these. 2) Paul told us that our belongings would be separated by a wood wall. This was not the case, our belongings were in fact mixed with another clients. 3) Paul told us that we had a large load and would be loaded first. That was not true. We were the last load on the truck and because the salesman did such a poor job quoting, are belongings were actually shipped on two trucks. Our belongings did NOT fit on the truck that came to pick them up. 4) Paul told us that our belongings would take no longer than 5 hours to load. It took the movers 12.5 hours to load and as a result we missed over going away party. The brokerage and especially this salesman should no longer be working in this field.
Desired outcome: We believe that there should be some compensation for the pain, aggravation, missed going away party and total misery this move cost us. We booked 2 months ahead. There was no excuss for this.
I had asked them to move me to Kansas City MO then changed my mind a few days later and they would not give me back $1811.13.
This company is a sham don't do business with them.
