I asked if I could return three costumes that added up to $250 bucks. The girl said yes. I asked if it had to be done within a certain time frame. She said before Halloween. So when I went to return the three costumes that didn't fit I walked into the store. There was a line up so I headed to the back to go to the bathroom. I was stopped by an employee who grabbed my 3 items that I paid for and was returning. I was told costumes were not allowed past the curtain. I explained that I paid for them and showed her my receipt. I said I was going to the bathroom. She told me I was not aloud to go to the bathroom on my own. So she followed me and stood outside the bathroom. This is extremely uncomfortable. I then line up to be told it's exchange only. Except the store is sold out of everything and there are no size small sub anything that would work. Also the store is a temporary pop up store. This leaves me with$250 to spend on Halloween stuff that doesn't work for me. This is absolutely ridiculous. To top it off the manager said it's consumers responsibility to read the receipt. I said how many time does that actually happen. I said you need to verbally tell customers. She said no we don't b CB it's in the receipt. I said a sign would be nice. She pointed at a tiny sign and I said that was not there last time. She said "ya it was bc I set up the store. Sorry but it's true". She never said when she set up the store bc it was not there when I was there last.
The merchandise I owned. It was paid for by me. Meaning it is allowed to go where I go bc I own it.
