Red Robin

Today Aug 14 2023 location Kamloops BC Canada. We came in to have lunch at approx 1:30 PM, my wife ordered a bacon cheese burger with a chocolate milk shake, I ordered a Teryaki Chicken burger with a chocolate milk shake we both asked to have our shakes delivered with our food. We waited for approx 20 minutes when our burger and chicken burger were dropped at our table with zero communication from what appeared to be the assistant manager a young east Indian woman. My wife looked at her Burger and it was clear that there was black as coal charcoal hanging out the side she opened the burger and it was totally burned black as coal... I opened my chicken burger and it was the same not quite as badly burned as hers but burned. We sent them back I walked up to the servers area and asked to speak to a manager and the same young lady who dropped the food off and walked away approached me and asked if she could help me? I showed her the burger and asked how any one could for starters let this out of the kitchen, and then even worse bring it to the table. She just looked at me with a blank expression then said we will get a new one started. I also asked about our milk shakes then I asked our server for the shakes again, she responded that she would get right on them... never did. We sat there for approx 15 minutes and found out the couple behind us had been delivered a BAD burger also they dropped a plate of potato chips off for my wife she looked at them and said I just want to leave! So I asked for the manager she came out looked at my burnt chicken burger that was still sitting at our table and said sorry, I told her sorry doesnt cut it we are leaving and wont be back... ever. She had the nerve to say she would take care of the bill... REALLY all we had eaten was my fries. It is really a sad day to see one of our favourite restaurants being run into the ground by lackadaisical "managers" and staff
