C & J Clark America, Inc., 60 Tower Road, Waltham, MA 02451 review: 4 pair of clarks shoes and one pair of clark ankle boots deteriorating and falling apart.

I am 70+ years old and have worn Clark's for years without and problems until recently, when the soles separated from the leather, leaving a trail of crumbling rubber behind me as I walked through a retail store. By the time I made it to my vehicle there wasn't much "sole" left on the bottom of my Clark's. This was embarrassing as well as a distressing event. I was lucky not to have fallen in the parking lot.

When I returned home I checked the bottoms of my other CLARKS and could see where the seams were beginning to separate. I now will have to replace 5 pair of shoes for fear of the CLARKS causing me to stumble and fall and will no longer recommend CLARKS to my friends and students, young and old.
