I had read so many forums and websites, and now I know you are a scam. I already reported you to New York Attorney General, New York City Department of Consumer Affairs, Better Business Bureau, FBI - Internet Crime Complaint Center. I will contact the New York State Police Department today to report you and give them all your information. I will also contact all the victims who posted messages against you on different websites or forums. Once I have enough number of victims, I will have my lawyer to file a class action against you. So, have fun scamming people. I'm sure you will pay for what you've done.

SURPRISINGLY, THEY FINALLY REPLIED ME ON THE SAME DAY:

Finally after a year, I have received a refund from magsforless.com. Just like every other complaint here, I received e-mail after e-mail telling me the same thing. I found this site about a month ago, and after reading the complaints, I had finally had enough. I simply e-mailed them and gave them my order numbers and total of the refund I was due. I told them that after speaking to my attorney, I was about to take legal action against the company. I then received an e-mail unlike any other I had gotten before. It said that a check had been sent in the amount of my refund, and to wait 8-10 days for it to arrive. I was skeptical, but yesterday it came in the mail. I don't know if it will work for everyone, but try to send an e-mail talking about taking legal recourse and see what happens. If this works for you, please e-mail me and let me know.

On Aug.30, 2007 I placed an order for a magazine with MagsForLess. I emailed them Nov. 11.2007 to find my order had never been processes so I would have to wait another 10 weeks for delivery. Jan. 3, 2008 I emailed them with no response. Again Jan. 14, 2008 I emailed them again and no response. How to I get either my magazine or my money refunded!

I ordered two magazines from www.MagsForLess.com (or www.magazineforless.com). I never received these magazines. E-mail complaints only received automatic response, without any progress. It is fortunate that I only spent less than $10. It seems important to order in small amount, and validate with the magazine publishers. If in any doubt, ask credit card company for money back as soon as possible.

I subscribed to two magazines from these clowns and they have never sent them. They will keep leading people on that there was a problem but they never fix it and they never send the magazine or refund the money. DO NOT BE TEMPTED BY THEIR VERY LOW PRICES. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. It's been nearly a year and nothing has transpired, despite many many e-mails going back and forth.

I ordered Jet and Ebony Magazines. I did start receiving my jets, but have not received my Ebonys. I guess I did start receiving them in May 2007.

I am another outraged customer! I placed an order (paid in full ) for a years subscription of Cooking Light on 8/24/06. It is now 6/11/07 and I have yet to receive my first issue. I was in contact with Meagen Richards, who gave me the run around for months. Eventually she simply stopped responding to my emails. Now when I try to look up my order, the website tells me there is no record of my order. MagsForLess needs to me taken down!

This company is absolutely horrible. I ordered a magazine subscription - they took my money - and I never heard from them again. The "complaint" form on their website does nothing. The phone number they provide will never get you to a live person. I filed a complaint with the BBB - but they wrote back after 5 months saying they could never get a hold of them.

Also known as: halfpricedmags.

I ordered some magazines and MagsForLess/Magazines deducted the money from my account and promised me the gift subscription but it was never received and I have not gotten a refund of my money and the number provided on my bank statement is always busy and I cannot get through. This seems to be a rip off. The order number sent to my email in non verifiable. I want my money refunded or the subscriptions sent.

MagsForLess ### and liars

Magsforless is a bunch of crooks, ### and liars. After not receiving any of my magazines for almost a year, I filed the first complaint, and someone from magsforless contacted me and promised me a delivery time of 4 - 8weeks. Now it's been 5 weeks, and I sent that person a couple emails inquiring the subscription status, so far, not a single word.

They are a bunch of crooks and liars, and it is their standard gimmik to buy more time by keeping giving out empty promises. I wish the FBI will clean them out.

I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about this company, magsforless. I am also including the info they have listed for the company... some of the phone numbers don't work but the more complaints to BBB gets about this scamming company the more likely it is they will do something about shutting them down.

I, too, feel I have likely been ripped off by this company. I ordered a Gift Subscription for a friend and promised them delivery by the date presented to me by/in the Magsforless email confirming my order.

That date has come and gone weeks now and I am pissed. Sorry to be modestly blunt in using term 'pissed' as I feel much more than THAT and will contact an attorney I have on retainer to pursue these creeps for their pure theft of $6.99 - It's NOT the $6.99 --- its the hundreds - perhaps THOUSANDS of >$6.99's< that add up to Major Crime - if its so - they should face Legal Action! Don't know how this site works but amass107 @yahoo.com is my address if anyone like to see about class action suit? As I say I will be asking my attorneys advice today on this matter. In future I will always check complaintsboard.com first before proceeding with orders like this from knee jerk Internet companies.
