Burgos & Brein did an excellent job of guiding me through the entire process to obtain VA benefits for my dad. They were able to get him approved in just over three weeks! Gabriel and Tressa were very professional, answered all of my questions and made an overwhelming process so much easier for me. I would highly recommend this firm for anyone needing help with this process.

I would like to say a great big thank you to the staff at Burgos & Brien for aiding me and my parents through this difficult time, we were able to secure the VA aide and attendance to help me provide the excellent care my parents deserve, I felt as tho I didn't know what, where or how to turn next and then Tressa and all the staff, would immediately get me headed the right way!

There was a small error in one of the forms that we provided the VA and when we got that notification, I sent the form to the Burgos & Brein staff and they handled it for me. I learned of this firm through my mother's assisted living facility. I was overwhelmed and so confused about her available VA benefits through my father who passed earlier in the year. Burgos and Brein navigated the VA like champs and were able to respond every time an issue arose. I am so thankful they were able to help us. Having placed my 95 year old mother in assisted living was a tough decision. I didn't know what I didn't know. Having found out she was eligible for some VA benefits due to my father's military service was so very helpful, but I didn't know where to start! I only learned about the VA A&A benefit a little over a year ago (when my Dad was 95). I started on the paperwork and realized I needed help to navigate through it all and went to the BBWM team for assistance. Sometimes it felt as though we would never get through it all, with the VA asking for more and more information. Tressa was so helpful, encouraging, and quick to respond to any email/phone calls. Burgos & Brein did an incredible job of helping me obtain Veterans Aid and Attendance benefits for my mother. Tressa guided me through the entire process. The required documentation would have been overwhelming for me if she had not patiently guided me through the process. She was incredibly courteous, responsive and professional during the entire engagement. And I received approval for my mother within 90 days, during this Covid-19 period. We were referred to Burgos and Brein by the assisted living facility my dad was in. Our experience in working with Burgos and Brein to submit paperwork for obtaining VA financial assistance for dad's care was nothing but positive. Having personally used the VA's website in the past for submitting a simple hearing loss claim for my dad, I can tell anyone who will listen that you don't want to tackle these kinds of activities on your own. The entire staff at Burgos and Brein were professional, compassionate, detailed in explanation, and excellent in communication throughout the entire process. VA awarded dad the aid and attendance benefit within 30 days of submission of his paperwork. I can only attribute this timely success to the folks who played a role in gathering, reviewing, and submitting the package (e.g., Deborah). I'm sure there is an entire team involved in the process and they were all superb. Many thanks for your help. We will recommend Burgos and Brein to those we know needing similar assistance.

I gave Burgos & Brein $1750 to file Medicaid papers for my elderly mother, but no paperwork was ever signed or filed. After going back and forth, Gabriel agreed to refund all the money. However, he tried to charge my bank a second time instead of reversing the funds. He said the bank refused the refund and promised to mail a check, but it never came. When the bank called, he claimed his company couldn't mail a check and the bank refused the refund. I explained that he was trying to make an unauthorized charge instead of reversing the funds, but he didn't listen. I wrote a review about the company, and they contacted me to take it down if I signed papers. I asked for a signed agreement that they would refund the $1750 first because I couldn't trust them. As of today, there's been no resolution on this matter.
