Brackenridge Physical Therapy review: Physical therapy 3

January 31 2013 I did evaluation and p.t. session. The doctor I had gave me referral for lumbar radiculopathy and cervical radiculopathy. He had, and several other doctors have diagnosed me with chronic degenerative spine conditions, and severe advanced DDD, lumbarsacral spine causing L5S1 bilateral lumbar radiculopathy, last mri, Jan.2012, whole disc almost collapsed. Also l5s1 spondylosis and multi level lumbar osteo arthritis, and multi level lumbar stenosis. Also april 2012 mri showed marked DDD c56 c67 and spondylosis, disc bulge and some stenosis. Radiculopathy caused by the DDD, and bilaterally.This doctor wanted to do a lot of epidural steroid injections and have me on large amounts of gabapentin.I could only take for night as put me to sleep, used for neck, shoulder upper arm pain. Symptoms go away rest of when laying down. Sitting not a problem as long as breaks, bending forward from waist or trunk I totally avoid as back pain very bad from and then get radicular pain after. Twising bad too. Back bending will make my back go out. Standing still irritates so pace or walk, and if prolonged low back and radicular pain.I told all this in my intake at the P.T.And other doctos and clinics long history of these facts.Well, this doctor who referred me dumped me in a P.T. place with no diagnoses except fibromyalgia, which was not point of getting P.T. for. So I left as hurt back and l5s1 in, and requested the doctor to give me referal for the DDD and radiculopathy part.Steroids an allergen and could not do. Also I had osteoporosis on L3 spine.When went to P.T. Jan.31, 2013, I TOOK my med records with and gave to P.T.It gave the info. But the cervical I only gave a DDD diagnosis info without any details. This doc was not to be trusted.Making sure he put DDD info in, etc.I left his clinic and saw my med records and his staff lied about my pain level numbers ridiculously, and everytime I WROTE them in, and have the paperwork. I was discharged from his pain clinic and doing the P.T. The P.T. said she not have mor than the radiculopathy info! Just like I figured.He was a hired gun doctor from this disability insurance, is what was going on. They paid him to do these things.All stated my own humble opinions.The P.T. wrote a complete fairly decent evaluation and info taking and exam. She put treating me for DDD with posture and stretching to reduce pain and radicular pain. She told me to keep my back straight at ALL times. NO bending, no twisting.This was main theme preached, stay upright always.This evaluation was in my med record completely when I got records after completing this P.T. The p.t said she would talk to doctor. She had the vists authorized and it showed on Jan.31, 2013 documents. She gave me exercises to also do at home. Next session she did not say anything. So I figured this time I was getting right treatment. Third session P.T.had me and hen puts me with P.T.A. The P.T.A. told me to bend forward at waist and she measured me. Also neck measured the rom. First visit the P.T. had too. But in records evaluation she said roms at waist aggravate pain. It seemed shady they were measuring this. I went through sessions. Preached to keep back straight by P.T.A.NO bending no stooping no twisting. Only rom did was laying was lumbar lying prone types and lumbar pelvic tilt .And prone lying down lumber extension slightly. Did arm and legs exercises. They found objective muscle incoordination and weakness right leg in 2 sessions, was in record too. She gave me ADL printout. NO bening, do all back upright, even brushing teeth, and any chores. I left may23, 2013. I got my med records out. Here is where it get hideous! I WAS SCAMMED!They Scam me into a phony P.T. that was not even legitimate! I read all of record, and last page says a FUNCTION report. Bending, lifting, carrying worsen pain. And it said NO partially resolved! The P.T.A. measured me bending forward from lumbar last day and was a little bit more forward, so put skewed twisted comment! I wondered why measured last day cause preached not to! They wanted to make sure I was gonna bend a little more forward by really pampering my low back activities. They did treat my low back DDD! But made misrepresentation by making it appear was something else! They were bought and paid for by insurance! She also put my low back and neck, that I know how to modify activities for pain. And that my radicular lower, that my legs still increased pain when standing walking and upper arms stilltoo when sitting activities.WHat? When sitting arms hurt? She asked me if I still had radicular pain lower when prolonged walking or standing and I said yes. and that of course includes low back DDD pain, source of all. She asked if radicular symptoms still upper ue prolonged using and I said yes still.She NEVER asked me of course about my bending lifting or carrying! And made skewed like back or neck not bother.Twisted.Also my goals for P.T. was listed as, bend lift carry without pain. Ludicrous. Intake forms asked what you would like to beable to do that you CANNOT. that is where she got that! I wanted exercises not to aggravate back or neck to do, and tips to to lessen pain. She also wrote in notes that she gave me adl and a body mechanics printout. Liar! No body mechanics printout!. This was not a gym my low back up to be a manual laborer P.T. program. Also day 3 my evaluation was CHANGED to no diagnosis, symptoms missing and put she was having me do ROM lumbar.! Which was misleading to say least! They just happened to have left info in hat censored out obviously making third like start of sessions including my commom low level pain numbers when first go to P.T. would ask and took out firs number Jan.31 swiching it to third day number so one lower. First day number SAME as last! Not doing ANY bending or lifting or carrying at P.T.or HEP! I told her back goes out when bending and she noted in record I told her that I have to keep moving or my back will go out and I cant move! Like I am a nutjob! She did not want what I really said in record. She put goofy notes misquoting me in records to kiss the insurance companies as#%! I tried to amend records have oroof they ignored. They can stick records up their as#&@! The sent evaluation page and last hideous page to doctors, clinics ! Unscrupulous!
