Technicians and services are great. However, officer staff is unprofessional. Billings and schedule are messed up. No responses when messages are left and then blames the customer. Charged full service when partial services where completed and told that the full charge will apply whether interior is done or not, this was due to a request to reschedule with no response from the office.

My property is in a coastal area down near the ocean, the homes here are old (about 80 years old) and a prime target for termites. My family tents about every 5 years for preventative measures, this time it was 7 years due to covid uncertainty. In all the years we have been tenting, I think Bowman has been the most professional team all the way through. From the estimate stage, office assistance, and the tent crews on-site protecting and caring for our home and even a feral cat they saved! They were swift to do their work while caring for my home and garden. I was in real estate and construction for 20 years, Bowman should be proud of this crew, I highly recommend this company.

Three reasons for the lower rating.1. Bowman did not advise when they cancelled an appointment due to weather conditions. It meant a person was tethered to the house the whole day.2. To reduce the cost, I wanted to change to an annual pest visit. That costs almost as much money so it's disappointing that Bowman increase their prices in this way when their costs would have been halved. They then ghosted my messages after that. Poor customer service, lacking communication skills. Now I must pay 5% increase pa. It's so sickening how people must just pay, pay, pay and corporations increase their prices at will. Not impressed.On the plus side, the pest controllers do the best they can, weather permitting.

Yes, I'd like to share my experience with the Maui community so they watch out for poor service. I recently ordered residential ant treatment service from Bowman Termite and Pest Control. So the inspector/exterminator came out to do the first-time inspection and treatment. What was specified is they pressure spray the outside of the house up to 10ft out, back pack or bottle spray inside perimeter, bait for ants inside at certain areas, and leave those ant house round things. Their email also says they treat toasters and ovens. Our exterminator, [insert name], did not pressure spray outside, he did not bait, and he also did not leave those round little ant house things. But the sad part about it is he wrote on his report that he did do all those things, which to me makes me lose all confidence and trust in such a well-known big company like Bowman, especially if I'm there watching. I could just imagine what happens when the homeowners can't handle the smell and actually leave and let the exterminator treat while they're not home. Sorry for the complaint, but I just feel it's only right to let our Maui community know to watch out.

Bowman has been hunting bugs on my Maui house for 10 years and they have been GREAT! Nice folks, too.

DO NOT use Bowman's. Very unprofessional: messes up billing and blames customer, changes appointments without notice, does not honor contract, etc. I have to call all the time and still they mess up.

Bowman's service has been excellent! I'd highly recommend them. Alex and Tyler have provided our services and they are always on time, do a great job, and they are cheerful and very courteous. 5 stars!

This was first time using them, setting up service was easy, they were on time, actually early! Listened to my ant problem, quick friendly professional service for first time use. Planning to have them do quarterly service for our home. Would recommend this local company to friends and acquaintance.

Happy with the company! When I first inquired about regular pest treatment, the representative was helpful & friendly. After the first appointment, I get emails quarterly to schedule the next treatment. The technician always shows up on time, is friendly, thorough, and very courteous. I don't see the bugs I used to see ,which means it's working!

The service by Bowman Termite and Pest control was fantastic. From my initial phone call to just 5 days later (even with the Memorial Day holiday!) when a technician is at my door. He was articulate, respectful, observant, courteous and answered all of my questions however ridiculous they may have sounded. Unfortunately it was raining, so he could only perform the indoor service but told me to call back to reschedule the exterior service anytime. Excellent!
