Luc Boisvert, of Boisvert Drywall Ltd., contracted to do all the drywalling and painting in my home for my renovation. We agreed that the work would be done in two phases. First the basement. The work in the basement started and some of the drywall was completed but he left out the front and back lower stairwells and the work was subpar. He sprayed the primer in most places and then part of the first coat of paint but missed sanding in many places which left the paint so rough that it can scrape your skin when you brush up against it. At this point, he begged for the balance of the money saying that he had so many creditors on his back and really needed the money. Well, that's the last I saw of him. He left a huge mess in the basement and the job unfinished. I got four estimates to fix and finish what he started and the cheapest one is $1, 900. He refuses to answer his phone or texts. I've contacted the RCMP and they say I'll have to take him to court. Now I'm paying someone else to fix his mess.

I did some investigating of my own and contacted the BBB. They never go out to investigate anything ever. They only have the information that the complainant and the contractor provide. The contractor said he completed the job to his standard which was obviously not to the complainant's standard. Lawyers are not investigators. The only lawyer that I could find in this case is the bankruptcy lawyer acting for the creditors that Luc Boisvert stiffed.

Everything that Natalie spews here is completely false. She obviously feels obligated to try to cover up for her daddy and maybe she's just like him. It's public record that Luc Boisvert has declared bankruptcy and stiffed a whole list of people and companies. Natalie must be so proud.

Everyone in this industry knows what a scammer Luc Boisvert is. Nobody, that knows him, will work for him because he never pays on time, always shorts pay, or never pays at all. He's also on COD with all suppliers because he never paid his bills. It's also well known in the industry that he does crappy work. Lots of us have had to clean up his mess.

This whole situation was investigated by lawyers and the Better Business Bureau and it came back as false. The BBB have gone in her home and investigated and even done a report on Boisvert Drywall Ltd. And it came back as 5 Star and they will answer any questions or concerns that people have with Boisvert Drywall. They told him not to reply to this women anymore and not to worry because the job was completed to standard. He has been a professional in his trade for over 30 years and has NEVER had a complaint once.

This woman wanted to get her work done for as cheap as possible and was rude and unorganzied and a pain in the ### to work for. So once Luc Boisvert completed the job that was requested he told her to find someone to complete her top floor because he could not deal with her crazyness anymore. And had new jobs coming up the week that she was going to want him to come back. If you wanted him to come do your top floor as well obviously the job was completed to your standard...

This woman and her son (who is the one writing all the online complaints) are upset that they didn't get their money back for work that as completed. Because she was trying to do her renovations as cheap as possible.

All you have to do is look up the BBB report that they made on Boisvert Drywall that was submitted AFTER THIS problem was investigated. 5 Star company. These people need to get a life.

Actually.
Once you both agreed on a price and date to begin the work you pushed the work an extra month because you and your brother in law were doing part of the work yourself before you wanted him to come in and take over so you can make it cheaper. You didnt know what you were doing which caused you to call him once every few days saying "next week!" "Monday!" "No wait next Saturday now" until it was finally ready for him to come in.

He completed the basement and got paid in full and once your attitude towards him shifted and you "forgot" what you had agreed on in the beginning he decided you can find someone to finish the main floor. Which wasn't even ready for him to begin for ANOTHER 2 weeks! You are mad because you paid him the minimum because you were going to do "all the extras and cleaning afterwards" so he lowered his asking price then once he finished you decided you wanted him to clean the house. That was not the agreement.
You are even paying a kid $10 an hour to do the work around your house so you don't have to! A business man like Luc Boisvert knows better than to get jewed by cheap cocky woman like you.

If you want to go about your renovations the cheap way and think you can weisell your way into getting more than you agreed on and paid for then don't expect an experience professional to play your games.

You didn't pay him for the job that was not started. Your attitude got you in this position lady stop crying about it. Learn how to do proper business.
