These computer jerks debited my account for 129$ then I had to wait six week to receive a computer that they were charging me 39.99 a week for debiting out my account. After this time was up I called them they said I did not mail some documents that they mailed me, which I never received. Therefore she mailed me some more papers and informed me that it would take 2 additional weeks to receive these papers. Then I got the papers I signed them (forgive me for being so stupid) ita been over six more weeks I have no computer, they still debited my account for 39.99 I called, spoke to a young man he told me that they did mailed the computer but that I would not get any free items until I finished my contract. So since sep. 2006 that is down payment +39.99 debited from my account and I have nothing from them, and its now feb 2007. After being on hold for about 2 hours and talking to this young jerk I ask to speak to his supervisor, he said he would put me on hold to connect me to his supervisor for which I was never connected just that stupid music they have playing. I went to my bank stop the automatic transaction haven't been able to reach them yet, we will see how long it takes for them to reach me when they find out I stop the transaction. I probably will never get my money back, however if by chance the computer comes I will use it. I certainly paid enough money for it. And if they got supervisors, them and their staff can kiss my # and go to hell!

I sent in all paperwork and final payment including shipping and processing fees in August and all was final on 8/31/09 and was told to expect shipment in 2-4 weeks. Here it is December 19th, 2009 and no tv yet. Every time i've called shipment is and on by 2 weeks. It's now been a total of 19 weeks and going on 20. What can i do? When i call, i'm on hold for 1-1/2 hours or more. When i finally talk to a live person they are rude and nasty with me. I just want my money which is over $450.00 or my Tv set.

i have been paying on the Premier Desktop 2009 for last 9 months paying over 1200.00 and i recently notice that the payments had stopped, i tried to go to the web page on which will not open. i tried different search engines still nothing. I tried to call on which thier is nothing, no automative voice mails no customer service, nothing the line dosn't even ring. I have tried three different numbers, one that i got off of the contract and the others i got from web page that is linked to Blue Hippo and none of them work.

I like others would like to recieve my order in full or a complete refund of my money that i worked hard for to make the paymentsf.

In the first place I want to thank this company for helping to make me much wiser! November of 2008 I started the process of buying a computer from this company. I sent the initial payment, then within the 3 day grace period I did cancel the order, but instead of refunding my money, they issued a credit to use toward other purchases. Okay, I could live with that. Several months later I chose a portable DVD player, paid the other 27.00 needed for shipping and waited. It's now been a year, and I'm still waiting. When i go to their "joke of customer service online" site, I'm shown the DVD player that WILL be sent. I tried calling their phone number on several occasions, I'm asked what the call is in reference to and for my account number/or social, put on hold, and then, almost immediately put on hold or will wait on hold for up to 45 minutes and THEN cut off. When i try to call right back, the phone will pick up and cut off immediately without even an opportunity to talk to a person. I sent them a letter threatening the better business bureau, and my lawyer and got no reply. DON"T BUY FROM THEM!

I was going to order a computer through Blue Hippo and gave them my information in December of 2008. In Feburary of 2009 I cancelled my order and as agreed I purchased a camera through them with the money they had from me. I even sent in another 67.00 to close down the account and bring everything current. As of Feb. 04, 2010 I have no camera. I call and I get the same story over and over. It will be sent out as soon as the system releases it. I ask to talk to a supervisor and I am told that there is none. It has been over a year. This is the worst company EVER!

When I originally got into my contract with this company, I was told that I had to make five payments and the product would be shipped to my address. Well, after the fifth uninterrupted payment I called the company four times before I could even get in touch with a customer service Rep. who then told me that I was never told five payments, it is actually all of the payments that were required to receive my computer and printer. I then continued to let the company take the money out of my account and the balance never seemed to go down. I then contacted the customer service dept. again to try an make a one time payment to settle the account and the company messed up the amount told to take out of my account and then blamed me, my bank charged me for the mistake and I then became angry, cancelled the account with the company and was then told that I could not get my money back and that I had to spend the $596 in the store but the shipping could not come out of this money I had to send it separate regardless of whether or not the product I ordered was less than the amount I had in credit. So the company still has my money and I have since purchased a computer from another company and Blue Hippo still has the money they took out of my account.

I had ordered a computer, with the belief that I would recieve a rebate of $350, a color printer, a 20' flat screen T.V. as well as an assortment of computer programs. Needless to say, I paid off the computer in the time frame of my agreement. Now two and a half years later have yet to recieve any of my extras. I made MANY attemps to the company about the situation only to get the run around with no results. I recently called to find out the number had been disconnected. So, I look online to find out I wasnt the only one to get taken advantage of. Who can you really trust anymore.

I cintacted bluehippo several time concerning my money and tv and all i get is that they want me to send money for shipping but the tv is less than the money taken from my checking account. idont understand why if iam no longer interested in product then why cant i have my money bac with interest for twelve or more months. in all electronic stores i know return your money if your not pleased with product or service, its un-american not to return any consumer money becaue of trickery and improper sells practices.at this time when our nation is mired in the worst recession in the history of this country is very unfair and most definitly obserb.

Over a period of 13 months Blue Hippo deducted $1918. I was expecting delivery about the time my home remodel would be complete. In November 2009 I was told that I would be provided with a ship date within the next few days. By December 2nd I found from online that their assets had been seized and that they had filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. So I have filed a complaint with the FTC. Their Bankruptcy File # is: 052-3092 with the Federal Trade Commission. My only salvation: take this loss as a deduction on my tax return for 2009.

I started a contract with blue hippo to receive a laptop computer and they took money out of my account. When I got laid off I couldn't continue to pay for the computer which I never received and when I questioned them about it, they told me that even though I never got anything from them, that they did not refund any money paid, but I had to go to their web site and purchase items in the amount of money that was paid to them. There was no such site and their phone # was no longer in use.

I purchase a laptop computer from these people in Sept. 2008, for 1, 918.00. They were getting money out of my account each week. I finally realize that i could not get in touch with these people even with the wrong phone number above. They scam me out of over 1500.00 and i cant get into my account or in touch with these people to receive my in store voucher for a purchase at Best Buy or something. Its so cruel that these people would even advertise this false mess. What can we do to get our money back, it was a gift for my daughter upon entering college. Please help us. My name is Rhonda Jackson. Send me some information to my email @ LJA 5417 @peoplepc.com. I will be looking out for you and you can tell these people that they can go you no where for life. They are cruel and bogese people to advertise this false mess. I want my daughters money back or please send her a voucher to get another computer at Best Buy for $1500.00. You people are nasty and i hope that someone will treat you the same way that you have treated us.

I PURCHASED THIS COMPUTER FROM BLUE HIPPO IN SEPTEMBER, 2008. THEY DEDUCTED $69.98 FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT EVERY 2 WEEKS. After my activation payment of $99 and 13 consecutive weeks worth of payments I would receive my computer. That never happened. After numerous calls and getting no answers I stopped payments. Once I did get thru and they said the computer was in the warehouse ready to be shipped. I've sent all the documents to the Pa. Attorney General's office, last year and have not heard from them since. Funny thing is I saw an advertisment of TV last night just like Blue Hippo's but they changed their name and phone number. I am on disability and I could really use that money back.

Try going to your local media. Many TV stations have a customer advocate and they love taking on these flashy companies who spoof the "little guy", especially those on limited incomes.

Terrible company, payments were taken out of my checking account. No computer ever received. Had to close checking account for them to stop taking payments. Tried to buy something else with the credit and they wanted to charge me the shipping fee would not include that with my credit. Every time you call you get the run around. Still waiting for my money back over $1300.00 Have all documentation, all signed agreement papers .Filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau they didnt do anything about it either. Finally stopped calling them because you dont get any one who is willing to help you.

I have heard this advertisment manty times. I knew it sound to good to be true. The last one I heard was a few days ago saying totally free with a TV.

I decided not to fall for the scam and be thankful for the ones I have. Free is not always good as we can now see.

That's like all money is not good money as the company can see.

Honesty is the best policy and they deceived tooooooooooooooo many people, and they need to pay double to each consumer they deceived. I am so sorry that other were ripped off by this con -artist

All you have to do is Google Blue Hippo and realize they are a scam. Given that we are in such a technological age, I would have to say that you are at fault for this one. You should have done your part in researching this company. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle GI JOE

Does anyone know how to get in contact with blue hippo? I know the federal trade commission is investigating them. There are so many of us that have been taken advantage of, there must be something we can do. I also paid off for a laptop in the amount of $1750.00 since 9.2009 and haven, t received anything.

I put down the $99.99 for a laptop computer with Blue Hippo, and paid the $39.99 per month as requested. After realizing that I could just save my money and buy a computer sooner than they were willing to send me one, I called to cancel my order. I already knew that my money would be refunded to me in the form of a "Store Credit", so when I called to cancel my order, the rep told me to go online and pick out anything that I wanted and they would send it to me. The rep assured me that all I would have to do is pay the difference/balance if there was one. When I found the site, there wasn't much to choose from for the $300+ dollar credit that I had, so for the time being, I chose a digital camera that cost about $150.00-$200.00. When I got to the checkout page and put my code in, to my surprise the site instructed me to send in a money order to cover S&H charges. This caught me off-gaurd because I chose an item that cost less than HALF of the credit I had available. Why couldn't they just take the S&H off of my credit? I immediately became frustrated with the fact of knowing that I ALREADY paid over $300.00 to this company for a computer that I WASN'T getting, and to get the items to replace it, I would have to pay at LEAST another $100.00. This was really fishy to me, so I put off getting the money order for a while until I could get some background info on this company and speak with a rep over the phone. Working full time and being a single parent was time-consuming enough. Not to mention it was the holiday season (November 2009). So I didn't have time to go get a money order to play cat and mouse games with a company that already had a good chunk of my money. By the time I was ready to sit down and deal with this issue it was December. I went back to the website only to be re-directed. To my surprise, I found that the company no-longer existed! I tried calling the phone number where I had JUST spoke to reps over a few weeks prior who instructed me to go to the web-site: Non-working number. Filled with Anger and Frustration, I put the issue temporarily on the back-burner hoping that I would here a commercial, or see an advertisement saying that they were back and action and I could claim my items, or receive paperwork in the mail instructing me on how to get my money back. Nothing ever happened. In fact, I STILL can't find any info on how to obtain my money back. If anyone knows anything about this matter, Please contact me at: Nellajan@aol.com -Thank You.

Blue hippo will not issue my credit due me, I have paid the $26 shipping charge to order a vcr/dvr como and a camera. I cannot reach anyone to talk about the order, what is the phone number to contact customer service, all the numbers I have are invaild. I am very unhappy with the service, I have been waiting for almost 2 years for this matter to be resolved, I'm very unhappy with the company, they're a big rip-off. they should have refunded my money and I would not have had this problem, they could still just refund my money and I would be happy.i need for someone to take care of this as soon as possible.I would not refere anyone to buy from your company.

Well I seen an ad on Tv back in 2008 so I called them because I was interested in getting myself a laptop. They took $99.00 out of my account..then I canceled it once they changed the amount of the laptop on me..so they credited the [$99.00] to my bluehippo account..They then said I can choose from whatever's online in their advisory to buy with the credit..I chose a MP3 Player that was only $45.00..they told me I had to send in a money order of [$24.21] and they would ship it right out. Well I haven't gotten any type of refunds, any calls, any notifications from Blue Hippo whatsoever.
