Do not BUY FROM Blindsgalore!
I just received my order from Blindsgalore for 2 windows. One was ok, but the other was too short. I called them & they said that they take off 1/2 inch for the inside window. I gave them the size that I NEEDED, NOT a 1/2 inch shorter!
They won't do anything about it, they said it's just too bad. I cant use this, Ill just have to throw it away!
Any business that wants to stay in Business, would make my order GOOD!
DON'T BUY FROM THEM, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!
I ordered blinds from them last year. I had some different problems that were eventually resolved. But I do recall the measuring instructions indicated to send the actual measurements, and not to take any amounts off.
I'm kind of disappointed in Blinds Galore right now. In August 2011, we bought 4 QuickShip Solar Shades. In November, I came back to the house after being gone for a few days and one of the blinds had sprung its spring! You did replace it. Then, the next time I left for an extended period in the spring of 2012, I returned to another sprung shade! Again, you replaced it. Now, in June 2013, I've returned to yet another shade sprung! I have done as you suggested and untightened all these shades, yet, they can't seem to stay in the closed position for any length of time. Something's not right that the 4th shade has now sprung in less than 2 years! And on top of that, you don't seem to have my email address in your files anymore (when I tried to get a new password)! After spending over $330 on these 4 shades, It is rather disappointing that you don't sell a quality solar shade. My original order number was #[protected]. I find it a bit concerning that you've taken me out of your data base. Can you do something to return my faith in you and your products? 4 shades shouldn't all end up springing their springs.
