I ordered a bike from Bikes Online and I also got bike oversold and cannot guarantee a shipment date.. it sounds very sketchy after reading other reviews. I should have looked at this site before ordering.. I've requested a refund and cannot get through to a live person.

I jus received my bike from them and I can only say good things about them and the bike. I reached out to customer service thru live chat and they answered all of my questions. Just make sure to reach out during their business hours. The bike arrived two days later than expected but that was because it sat for two days in the *** hub in ***. So that was on ***. I would suggest that you watch unboxing and assembly videos on *** before unboxing your bike because some vital parts can stick in the packaging and you must remove them and install them on your bike. The bike is perfect and exactly as described. I would definitely order from them again.

Bikes Online This company is like, kinda sketchy

This company is like, kinda sketchy. They send you the bike, but then they're like, "Nah, we ain't gonna help you with any problems." I've been going in circles for like, a whole month 'cause the bike they sent me has a bunch of issues. The frame and rear hub are the worst. The rear hub didn't even have a bearing, and the frame makes these weird popping and cracking sounds. I've asked for a refund three times now, and they've only offered it twice. And when I ask for a return label, the person just disappears for like, 5-6 days and then comes back like, "Hey, seems like you're having problems with the bike. Wanna return it?" But then the refund offer is all like, "Make sure there ain't no issues with the bike, okay?" Like, duh, there are issues! That's why I wanna return it!

Bikes Online I bought a bike for my wife from Bikes Online, and it cost me about $1,800

I bought a bike for my wife from Bikes Online, and it cost me about $1,800. But when the bike arrived, it wasn't like they said on their site. There was a big problem with the rear shock, it had a *** in it that dug into the metal. So, I reached out to them to let them know about the issues. They gave me two choices: one was to take off the rear shock, send it to them, and wait for 3-6 months to get a new one. The other option was to pack up the bike, send it back to them, and hope that the replacement would be the right one and not damaged. We couldn't find a solution that worked for both of us. All they had to do was let my wife ride the bike with the damaged shock while we waited for the replacement, and send me the right part that matched the description on their website. But instead, they insisted that my wife had to be without a bike for even longer. I guess I expected too much from an online store. I won't be ordering from them again.

Bikes Online I bought a bike on 5/29

I bought a bike on 5/29. They said it would ship on 06/24. I asked for an update and got an email saying there was a "computer issue" and they sold too many bikes. I would've been fine with that, but I saw other reviews saying this happens a lot. They sell bikes they don't have and lie about when they'll ship. It's hard to reach them by phone, and emails take forever and don't give much info. Bikesonline*** is always overselling and lying about shipping. They don't communicate well and it's tough to talk to a real person. I don't like getting my purchase 2-3 months late. They should be honest about shipping times.

I bought a bike from Bikes Online 'cause they said it had a wider, cushy seat that would make riding comfy. That's what made me decide to buy it 'cause I got a medical condition that makes regular seats hurt. But when I got the bike, the seat was cheap and hard, not like what they advertised. So I reached out to support, but they didn't do nothin' to fix it. They said they can change parts however they want to get bikes out faster, even if it's false advertisin'. Then they turned around and said they got no control over the parts, contradictin' themselves real quick. They claim they test and adjust the bikes before sendin' 'em out, but the one I got had the back wheel rubbin' against the brakes right outta the box. This company ain't trustworthy, and you can't count on 'em to give you what they promise.

Bikes Online I bought a bike from bikesonline.com on February 9th, 2023

I bought a bike from bikesonline.com on February 9th, 2023. I got the bike and the size was wrong and I didn't like it, so I sent it back within the "free 14 day return" time. When they got the bike, they said it was damaged because I crashed it, even though I didn't ride it and didn't crash it. I packed the bike exactly like they told me to and sent it out clean with no damage. I paid $2,410.44 for the bike at first. I thought I would get a full refund. But they accused me of damaging the bike and showed pictures of damage that I know for sure wasn't there when I sent it. I have proof with pictures and videos. They also said, "The damage couldn't be from shipping" and had to be from a "crash". They're just lying and charging me $178 for damage they made up. I'm sure they sent me pictures of a different bike to scam me because they won't send more zoomed out pictures and won't show the bike's product number in a picture. They're also ignoring my messages after I sent the return.

Bikes Online Deceptive reviews

Deceptive reviews. You'll notice there are only 4 and 5 star reviews on their website. That's because I believe they filter the reviews and never post any that would result in a 3 star or lower rating. Further, the customer care team seems indifferent to shipping damage and discouraged me to seek warranty repair for the paint chips out of my new bike. Here's the review I made 5 attempts to post for the 24 inch Polygon Siskiu bike: The bike is great. It is a great value. But don't expect "cutting out the middleman" to mean you get better service. The old adage is true: companies can offer low price, good quality, and great customer service (choose 2). I really REALLY wanted to love bikesonline and have it be a discovery I could share among my mountain biking community. The savings! The Service! But while I really like the bike, the service has been really underwhelming and slow. For instance, the bike arrived with about a 3mm long paint chip (probably from the factory during installation). I thought chat support would be a quick and easy way to fix the problem so I didn't have to send the bike back. But while chat said "responds in 6 min", my experience was that leaving it open for 45 min (several different times) didn't get any replies in real time. When I did get a response, I was told how difficult the warranty process was (aka, don't even try it, it'll take forever IF you get anything at all). I really wanted an "oh dang, here's a tube of paint that you can match" or "how about we take $50 or $100 off the purchase price to make up for the time and money you'll have to spend to fix that problem we made for you"... Know that the bike doesn't fit kids with an inseam under 22". The issue is the dropper post has to be installed with an extra inch of height above the frame or it bottoms out (they used a dropper that is too long for the frame). Other issue is the seat: it is full size adult -- & is about an inch taller than most other off the shelf seats out there.
