Benjamin Franklin Plumbing review: Highway robbery! $1200 to switch-out a simple $100 kitchen appliance??? Beware!

This company came to our home to switch-out an uncomplicated kitchen appliance (costs around $100 at Home Depot /Leows) . The quote was for $1200! For a less powerful model, and a short warrantee. We have received quotes from $425-$600 for the SAME project with longer warrantees & more powerful motors-all the same brand. The company should be avoided at ALL costs unless you have money to burn. This quote of $1200 is both shocking and consumer theft imo.
BTW: They boast of hundreds of only POSITIVE online reviews. See for yourself. I see no evidence of this being the case at all.

Recommendation: USE ANOTHER PLUMBING COMPANY
