Beckertime review: Fraud 6

I purchased one Datejust watch from them a couple of years ago. After about 9 or so months I noticed it wasn't keeping good time even though I put it on a winder every night. They told me to return it and they would repair it. When I got it back just a few weeks after I sent it there was a noticeable difference in the feel of the winder and time setting functions. It was much smoother than before. A friends family was in the watch repair business so he knew quite a bit about these things. He told me that when an automatic watch ages the lubricants get thick and that causes resistance in the functions, hence the lack of proper timekeeping. I told him how the watch felt when I got it back he said they must have disassembled and cleaned the entire watch. And that they reassembled it lubricating it properly and adjusting as needed. He said that was the only way to get it to keep proper time again. They also offered me a full refund of the purchase price to use toward an upgraded watch any time I want. Before I started dealing with them I checked them out as best as I could. My communications with them prior to buying the watch, during the buying process and several calls after buying the watch were perfect and very professional. I have absolutely no reason to believe or give any credibility to the negative comments made by a few individuals. I recommend them highly any chance I get.

Beckertime does not sell fake Rolex watches. All of the watches have genuine Rolex Serial numbers and have characteristics that self-identify them as Rolex watches. I have purchased two watches from them, both of which I am highly satisfied with. Even with a high quality fake, it is abundantly clear that it is not a genuine Rolex. On a genuine Rolex, you can tell by observing the second-hand as it moves around the dial. The second hand will have a visible shake whereas a Rolex is very smooth. You can also tell because when you set the watch, a forward twist on the the crown moves the hour and minute hand forward, not backward as in most non-Rolex movements. There has never been any question in my mind that the watches sold by Beckertime are absolutely authentic. They could not stay in business otherwise.

Becker Time is a FRAUD! They sell old watches that were broken and rebuilt with junk parts. Some parts may be real but they actually use FAKE/REPLICA parts. I received a watch that if i had not been around Rolexs for quite some time i would have never known. It takes a trained eye these days to spot the fakes, all the typical "real" identification" marks are known to the manufactures in China and they do their best to replicate these and have gotten better over the years.

I BEST WAY TO TELL A FAKE IT TO TAKE IT TO A ROLEX STORY AND SET IT NEXT TO A REAL ONE, YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE!

Do your homework before you buy, if a deal is to good to be true it ALMOST ALWAYS IS!

I purchased a Rolex watch (supposedly) from these guys on eBay from Becker Time and they said I have three days to inspect it or my money back I brought it to the jeweler in my area that sells Rolex watches to have it inspected and they told me it is not real. I was not happy with it so I called Matt at Becker Time to say I want to return it. They say I couldn't return it even though it wasn't even three days yet. I was told I couldn't return the watch. In order for me to return the watch I have to get something in writing from a jeweler store that sells watches saying it was not authentic but I could not bring it to a Rolex Store which I think is so ridicilous. I finally took it to my local jeweler and he said it was fake and produced for me the documentation which I faxed to Becker Time It had a fake band made of steel and gold-plated. He said the movement was made in china and the crystal was made of plastic and, altogether it probably cost $15 to make. When I called the company to follow up they told me my jeweler's appraisal wasn't good enough. I don't know what to do. They will not refund my money. When I call they used to hang up on me and now it says my number is blocked.

A big warning to everyone: STAY AWAY FROM BECKER TIME There are plenty of other good stores out there. Their Ebay feedback is great and the auctions look very professional but when it comes time to honoring their policies, these guys are SCAM ARTISTS. It's just not worth the risk.

I have personally purchased two vintage Rolex watches from Beckertime this year (2012). One was a solid 14K Gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date and the other was a two-tone (Stainless Steel and Gold) Ladies Oyster Perpetual Datejust. I just had these two Rolex watches appraised and they appraised for considerably higher than what I bought them for from BeckerTime. Any questions that I had about the watches were very professionally dealt with by Matt Becker of Beckertime. BeckerTime consistently receives high feedback ratings from their clients and for good reason. I would not hesitate to purchase again from Matt Becker at Beckertime.

I purchased a watch from beckertime on eBay and. After I made payment with PayPal . I then wendy online to read reviews and found your. Which really disturbed me since I had sent my money already .
I immediately contacted them by email and at 11 pm minutes later hey answered I told them how I felt after a few mails back and forth. I was able to understand that I was doing business with a legitimate company that stands 100 % behind their reputation and service. Not only they offerd a full refund they took the time to explain the process and in detail the watch I bough I knew it had an after market band. And I understood. What that meant. I requested an upgrade to have the original band put on the watch and agreed to the additional cost.
To my surprise. This morning I got a call from the owner of the company to address my concerns I was very impressed and could not believed when he offerd to upgrade my band for free to make my experience with them the best one I have had.
Also he told me that if in the future I wanted to upgrade my watch they will take the old one and give me credit forwards the new purchase equivalent to the cost of my watch

Will recommend them to all my friends and defenetily. Will do business with them again
