Basket Size Shrinkage review: Customer service

Today I attended the Duncan Store (1563) for a quick shop. I needed several items and did not have a loonie for a cart so opted for a basket. I was very disappointed that you have shrunk the basket size substantially.. I was very disappointed that I could only fit 6 items in the basket which is completely unreasonable. I am not one to ever complain but since I had a few minutes I went to customer service and was met by a very rude employee name cari-ann (she would not provide me her last name). I explained that a basket that holds only 6 items is completely unreasonable and she explained to me that these baskets are only $12.99 where as the larger ones cost substantially more...? Being that Loblaws has enjoyed historic profits (30%) over their last fiscal year it boggles my mind that you would inconvenience your customers to squeeze out a few more shekels from customers that are obviously already overpaying. Sincerely, I am aghast that you are gouging...yes gouging...$5 for a head of lettuce is gouging. Sacrificing customer service and hiring people like car-ann who is obviously not in the right position for her abrupt and dismissive attitude makes one wonder just who thinks that they can run a community store with any competence.

I want the larger baskets restored. I want something done about this car-anne person that cut me off and retreated to her office and closed the door on me mid sentence.
