It was quick and easy. I could not get my dog to stop barking at everyone who walked by our rear yard which included vehicles too. It was also difficult to get him, Boone, to stop barking when I was with him in the yard. Within a couple of days he has started to be much quieter. There are occasions that as soon as I open the door, Boone stops barking before I have time to use the training tool. Boone is also starting to be more quiet as people walk by. However the Fed ex, UPS, and mail trucks are still a work in progress. I'm very happy with the changes that have occurred with Boone and his barking due to the training tool.

This is the best stop barking product ever!

My 10 yr old male Yorkie/Shih Tzu would bark at everyone walking by our house and would not stop for anything. He would act like a 2 yr old child and bark for attention whenever I tried to have a conversation with someone or when I was on the phone. He would only quiet down if I picked him up. I've bought and returned several products equally priced and he would continue barking while they were being used.

This BarxBuddy stopped him from barking the very first time I used it. All I have to do now is show it to him and he stops barking immediately.

I love this device, I have 3 schnauzers and anyone who owns a schnauzer knows how noisy they can be.
Hunter, who is my male kept barking and trying to jump my fence, I got out the device last night, started using it. At first I was skeptical, he would continue to bark when I pointed it at him. So, I started using it in the house when he would bark. This morning I came outside with them, when he would go near the fence, I would push the button, He would back up, look at me and whine. My neighbors Great Pyrenees started to bark, I pushed the button and he stopped barking.

I have 2 dogs, an 80 pound shepherd corgi mix and a 25 pound dachshund corgi mix. They are both extreme barkers and it's embarrassing when we have company. When my cockapoo found her voice she started testing us by using it more and more. A high squeaky bark for "I want it" and a lower, regular sounding bark for alerting us. Recently she had been barking near our table during meals and around the kitchen while we prepared food before her scheduled mealtime. I've had this for 4 days. I only had to engage it twice. My dog now shuts up when I SHOW her the unit and say "Quiet". I just didn't believe this was possible UNTIL I SAW IT MYSELF! I have a rescue Schnauzer mutt we've had for 3.5yrs. She is a yapper. She barks to hear herself bark. She barks at kids on bikes, scooters, roller skates, motorcycles, mailman, delivery trucks, people walking by, people walking by with dogs, squirrels on porch, rabbits in yard, outside cats, DEER! She barks to get a response from other dogs in the neighborhood. Not good at 2am. Inside or outside doesn't matter. Purchase arrived quickly. Directions not clear. It took me longer to open battery door and get battery out, unwrapped, and installed than it took me to train dog. Dog was outside barking. I went to backdoor, pointed, and pressed button. She stopped dead, whipped head around to look at me with a "what was that" look! I said "Quiet". About 5 min later a delivery truck went by. She launched into a frenzy running the fence. I pointed device and pressed button saying "QUIET!" She stopped in her tracks, whipped head to look at me. I said "QUIET". You could see frenzy tension melt. Her demeanor softened. She walked up to me and we went in the house. If she hears or sees a delivery truck, school bus, or car door slam she will run crazy from front to back of house. I call her name, point unit at her and say "QUIET". Silence! So far I haven't had to engage button again. If she sees me holding the unit, she's quiet. I'm working on letting her start to bark because I want her to be able to warn me. But, as soon as it takes that incessant turn, I just point it at her and... SILENCE! I don't know how the developer did this without being able to hear tone himself, but IT WORKS! I thank you. My neighbors thank you!

The battery was really hard to attach, but once done, this worked like a charm from the first time I used it. Now I rarely have to push the button. When my dog sees me pick it up, she won't even THINK about barking. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks!

So far it works great. I have 5 small dogs and everytime they hear a noice outside they run to the door barking, All I have to do is push the button one time and they stop until they get outside. It certainly has changed things around here for the better.

Your products are awesome! We have a chatty Chihuahua who never shuts up. All I did was plug in the battery from another room, mind you, and pointed it down the hallway. Then I pushed the button, and I have not heard her all night. Thank you!

It is now quiet in our house! Our puppy (18 months) had started barking constantly. I had tried the bark collars but to no avail. Thought I would try the barxbuddy before I got rid of him!It has been a god send! It only took a couple of times of using it and he doesnt bark!

It appears to be exactly as described! I had a little difficulty opening the battery compartment but once I did, it was easy to operate! Its very quiet and did not bother my puppy as I feared it would! It worked pretty quickly too! I am very pleased with this purchase! It seems well-made, safe, and easy to operate!

Received today and was amazed how well it works to stop our little dog from barking. We recently went camping and it was disastrous. She pretty much barked the whole time. So far, it really seems to work well with our new Chi X that we adopted a few weeks ago. The barking at other dogs and ducks was getting out of control. I thought, oh no, what have we gotten ourselves into here. We are seniors and have never had a dog like this before with our other rescues. It really seems to work quite well, and our walks are much more enjoyable now. Our Chi X is a real sweetheart.

My wife and I purchased this dog silencer and it works wonderfully for our dog. He barks at everything and this has cut out 100% of the barking. Because we live in a retirement complex we really needed him to be quiet and this has done the job. The product works very well. My Chihuahua, who has a deer-like head, is struggling after his older sister passed away. He used to bark a lot, but now he seems to be taking his role as a guard dog too seriously. I am also trying to improve his socialization skills. My young dog is a yapper. He goes outside just to bark, he even barks at the sky! He is very protective of me and doesn't like me to to leave the room. I just received this device and had to use it on my 10 month old toy Schnorkie who wouldn't stop barking. She is a very verbal communicator. The first time I pointed it at her she really jumped and was literally swept off of her feet and she was completely distracted from barking any further. The next time I used it she was distracted again and stopped barking but didn't jump. So far so good. Can you confirm that this will not hurt the dog. I know that's what your advertising says. She is only 5 lbs and because I don't really understand how this works, I worry that it might hurt her somehow or give her heart arrhythmia or something.

My husband and I live in a condo with a rescued 6 yr old chihuahua who’s lived with us since 9/1/19. We have been a little lenient hoping it would help him acclimate to us and not be afraid of us...but...he is a barker! I wish there was an option for no stars. This company has the worse customer service. First you never receive a confirmation email about your order. I was lucky that I printed the final page about my payment. I called back 2 weeks after placing my order and the representative told me he was going to call me within next 2-3 hrs since their system was down. I didn't hear anything for a week. So I called back and cancelled my order. There were just too many red flags. During the last call the representative told me that he could not issue a refund and would give me discount on another product. I firmly rejected and had to threaten him about calling my credit card company for retrieving the payment and file a complaint. Then he put me on hold and came back giving me the full refund. Then I had to ask for a confirmation number for cancellation and tracking number for follow up calls. He told me my order number is my confirmation for cancellation (which is fine but him not voluntarily giving it to me made me even more suspicious.)

For any online order there is a confirmation email sent, if product is on back order customers are usually informed via email, calls are promptly returned, and there would be a tracking number given to the customer. This company failed to do any of these. I started to doubt that this company is even in US since both times I talked to someone with heavy accent. The website is very misleading. This company needs major improvement in conducting business and keeping customers happy.
