B & W Painting, Inc. review: Painting

Hired this company to paint 5 bedrooms, their closets and 2 Hallways. Paint job was to include removing old caulk and re-caulking, painting all walls, all ceilings, repairing (filling holes or fixing bad areas) where needed, painting all doors, painting all trim and baseboards. Price was agreed upon and painter was provided 1 gallon each type of paint homeowner wanted to be used. Specifically asked that all carpets were protected because carpet was brand new. To say this was a bad paint job is an understatement. Painters rushed through job and didn't complete most of what was asked. There was "running" in many places and the baseboards and doors were only painted partway down. Painters did no prep prior to painting. Homeowner prepped rooms as much as possible prior to job. Painters painted a dirty room that had not been prepped and did not tape anything. They ruined brand-new carpet. No caulking was done, no sanding, no prep at all. Complaints were made but the owner completely dismissed them then was rude about it. Then, they tried to charge more money for a job not even worth the initial price. And now, due to no prep and using incorrect materials, the homeowner, who is disabled, has to remove peeling paint and redo all the trim, doors, and baseboards. Not to mention, remove paint from new carpets.
