No longer a friendly place. Long-time customer here, many orders, but lately buying here has been less than enjoyable.in a recent exchange of emails with Henry Posner, their Director of Communications about customer service, he did not say hello or hi or address me by name or even thank me for my business. B&H does not care about people. They do not do relationship. They've paid millions out in discrimination cases against Asians, Hispanics, women, etc. They've gotten too large and focused on units and dollars and scale. When you order, you're just meat through their system. Choose another vendor that still honors old-fashioned values and earns your business and gives you a smile. Or shop LOCAL where they need you and want you. Life is too short and we're all ground through too many systems. Avoid B&H. Not recommended. No stars for service.

A large portion of our growth and success is rooted in our understanding that the company-customer and company-employee relationships are the crux of that success.     Unfortunately the B&H response to our queries, after 50-plus orders and 10 years of loyalty, does not give us confidence we are valued as a customer. We've transferred our business to firms who appear delighted to have us on board and want to serve us with the patience and respect any customer would appreciate. This is an old story in business. Firms grow too large and arrogant and slip before they know it. Retail is so competitive, and yes, the customer is always right in the sense you cannot try hard enough to be respectful in dealing with people. In our opinion B&H has stumbled in how it treats employees and customers, in our case from their online chat service all the way up up to senior management.
