Hi all! Today I was surprised how this company (Avanti) acted very rude and unprofessional towards their customer. During one hour of experience with them when I checked my cell phone call out log I happened to call them 7 times and still didn't get any result, even though I was trying to work it out with them but they was not willing to listen. Making long story short on 09/02/08 they issued RA (return authorization) for above mentioned defective item but they told me I don't have to do nothing but now they telling i was supposed to send the defective item to them to issue a credit after when I waited 2 months to get compensated. I copied and pasted the email that I wrote to them after the incident happened, so feel free to read.


Writing regarding an incident just happened few minutes ago about reference # 24641. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to get a name of that woman in service department. She was extremely rude on the phone, was not cooperative, was not listening customer's needs and worst of all she yelled at me and hang up. Quote "I refuse to help you!" What kind of professionalism is this!!! So this is me writing this up to you just to make this incident official (this email is being documented, so no reason that you might say that you didn't receive any email later on). After when I got hanged up I called several times to speak with anybody but they all transfered me around and nobody wanted to speak. Please make sure forward this email to your manager David Conboy. 1pm 11/06.

    My company purchased an Avanti mini fridge for our office. There are only 3 of us here, so it was not abused. We had it less than a year when it stopped working. I attempted to contact the company several times, both by email and telephone. No one ever returned my phone calls. I will NEVER purchase another item from this company. I have never had NO customer service from a company before. Steer clear of this company, do business elsewhere!

    We had a representative for Avanti water system come to our house for a water testing this evening. The guy was rude from the start asking us if we were satisfied with our water and did we really want to see this as it would take an hour and a half. We said yes, as we had both city and well water and we wanted both of them tested. After an hour into the presentation, we discovered out dog had gotten out when we went to get a sample of the well water. I went after the dog, I was gone 4 minutes finding him in the neighbors yard. The guy told my husband that he couldn't continue since I had gone after the dog, left the mess he had made in my kitchen, packed up and took off. We called the company several times and got no response. He also refused to give us our gift certificate for the ham as he didn't get to finish his presentation. We now know our well water is bad, and that we may have some things in the city water that we need to clear out, but have no idea what, since he so rudely ran out. I was a house away and he wouldn't wait for me to come back in the house. Very rude. He didn't want to do it in the first place and seemed very tired. So we are out an hour and half of our time as he was 30 minutes late getting to our house and them we got through an hour of the presentation. I will not do business with them again and will recommend that no one I know on facebook or any family and friends do any with them as well.

    Also had a beverage cooler that completely died after about 15 months of having it. I can't even have it repaired for less than I paid for it. A fridge should not die after 15 months. I'm so mad and customer service was so rude to me as well.
