I am not happy with Goodlife Camberwell, I was a member with goodlife Camberwell and singed a contract last year before COVID starts, Due to COVID Gym was off for long time could be more than 6 months, and in the min time I hurt my shoulder and when COVID gets better in Victoria Gym opened and started charging me but I stopped GYm last year, they called me few times and I told them I cannot continue gym due to my health condition and I was ready to give them a doctor certificate, I called my bank and stopped payment and they started calling me and I told them my situation, they charged me for couple of months and asked me later to pay them the cancellation fees, due to my work I couldn't answer their call all the time and also I moved from hawthorn to Maribyrnong so it wasn't easy for me to go to Gym after work to hawthorn which is quite far from my work, I rang them few times when I got an email saying they want the money otherwise they will send that to dept collection, after I rang them and I was ready to pay them but they mentioned on the phone that they were not able to find my details, I was waiting on the line over an hour and they mentioned they will ring me back which they haven't but I ring them back again after an hour, they mentioned staffs ere busy and they still haven't find me in the system n they advised they will ring me back but I didn't ring me back and today I got massage from dept collection that I need to pay $409.
after paid $415 (Including fees) this morning I called to goodlife Camberwell and they got my details less than a minute.
I am very much frustrated, when you want to join a Gym on a monthly basis they just push you to sign a contract then they are done, they doesn't care anyone's situation, they just want money. They knows how to robbing people.
Sales is the business model. As a trainer working for GoodLife once bluntly told me- "I'm working here because I like to make money and make the company money".
