I am the personal representative for the estate of my sister who died at the end of February. I found and paid my sisters past due and current bills as they were were sent to her, even though I had told the company she was dead and that bills were to be sent to me. 4 months later they realized that, in spite of being paid in full for any past and current bills, they could no longer provide service to my sister's resident because she was dead, so the turned off the gas service to the residence without notice to be - the reported Personal Representative who had in complete good faith, paid all the bilsl incurred. We found out that Atmos Energy had disconnected the service to my sister's property without any notice, and after being paid in full for any overdue or current charges for the service before and after her death. in spite of being paid in full for any past due or current charges. They said it would take 10 days to get service back. The service was shut off, without notice to the estate personal representative, paid all bills owed to Atmos, some days before a terminal cleaning service was hired to clean up the remains of my sister's body and subsequent bodily fluids (blood, feces, and fluid from dead tissue). The high cost team was unablt to begin their ghoulish task beause the had no hot water.

The customer service representative at Atmos who we called to rectify the situation was unspeakably rude and dismissive and unwilling to provide any solution other that waiting 10 days to see if someone might be available in the future to come and turn the service back on.

The final insult was that, after putting the account in my own name, as personal representative to the estate of my late sister's property, to preserve service until the sale of the property, Atmos continues to this day to say that my liabilty to this property exends in perpetuity. I am liable for all gas service bills for them well after the house was sold, on 7//3/2023 and indeed into the September billing. Contacting the representative on Sepember 7, a full two months after I no longer owned the house, I was liable for all bill for the new owner in perpetuity, because the new owner had not set up an account and transferred.

Finally, the new home owner of the property contacted Atmos to try to pay the july, august and september bills, they accepted the payment and provided a confirmation number showing the bill had been paid, BUT ATMOS CONTINUES TO HARRASS ME BY PHONE, TEXT AND EMAIL THREATENING ME WITH COLLECTION SERVICES IF I DON'T DOUBLE PAY FOR SERVICE TO A HOUSE THAT I HAVE NOT OWNED SINCE 7/3/2023. Atmos has participating for the residence service, and at the same time, shut off service to the new owner, demanding reactivation fees to restore service.

No one at any time did anything to Atmos Energy that was not in good faith, They have been fully paid and billed for duplicate payment by me, acted viciously on the phone when asked to fixed the error, and have outright denied that any bill was paid.

This company's staff is vicious, bullying and non responsive. And they are the only act in town, so we have to abide by their thieving, cheating and hateful policies.

What can be done?

Desired outcome: and providie written proof that they have removed me as the liable person for gas services at the address of my dead sister's residence. The company must desist in all harassing contact with me.
