I signed a contract with Asphalt Paving & Concrete Inc. in May and they said they'd finish the job in 6-8 weeks. They were supposed to contact me to schedule the job, but I didn't hear from them until August . They sent me an email saying they couldn't start the job until November or December and suggested I find someone else. I recommend finding a different company to work with because Asphalt Paving & Concrete Inc. doesn't keep their promises.

I hired Asphalt Paving & Concrete Inc. to fix my sidewalk, but they did a bad job. They came without telling me and the new concrete didn't match the old one. It also looked like a kid did it. They didn't clean up after themselves and now I have to fix it again. I emailed them to ask for help, but they didn't respond. They're not good at their job and don't care about their customers. They took my money and gave me a bad product.

I sent them a proposal to do my driveway on June 29. I called them a few days later to make sure they got it and they did. I talked to *** on July 16, she said they'd call me when they could do the job. I waited for them to call me back. But they didn't. I called them a few days later in July and talked to ***. She didn't say anything about any problems they were having. She said they'd call me when they could do my driveway. I was annoyed by that. But I thought they were busy. So, *** called back on July 21 and said they'd be at my house on July 28 or 29. I called on the 28th, at 11:54 am, and *** said they could still come and to just wait. We made several appointments and they still haven't called or shown up to do the job. They suck and didn't keep their promise. I wouldn't recommend anyone do business with them!

This company ain't worth doing business with again. They've been around for 58 years and got an A+ rating from the ComplaintsBoard.com, but we were let down by their work quality, scheduling, and communication. We hired them to replace three driveways in our townhome community for $12,660 in July, but they didn't start until November and took forever to finish. They couldn't keep their promises about when their crews would show up, and the paving was done in bits and pieces, leaving us with a bumpy surface and unstable borders. They did some patching up after we complained, but it was a hassle dealing with them and the end result was a letdown. We won't be using Asphalt Paving and Concrete again.

This biz is terrible! They can't communicate worth a darn! It took forever to get a quote on the garage. The first time someone came out, they gave us a quote on the front of the house when we asked for the inside of the garage. Then, they just drove by one day and we got a contract in the mail. So, we called back to explain that we didn't know anyone came by and how could they give a quote without seeing the garage. They said they thought we wanted work done on the front of the house. After a few weeks, someone finally came out and gave us a quote on the garage like we asked for in the first place. Of course, they were hours late and didn't respect our time. I signed a contract in April and never got a proper response. My boyfriend had to call several times to get an appointment scheduled and we got the runaround. One day, they called an hour before saying they'd be there at 9am like we don't have jobs. That appointment was cancelled because no one was home. Yesterday, they said they'd come around 9-9:30am to start the garage. I wasn't happy but made it work and had someone at home to let them in. No one showed up, so I called and was told my home wasn't on the schedule because they didn't hear from us until 5:45am that morning, which was a lie! My boyfriend spoke to them the day before and we agreed on 9am. He called and they said they'd be there at 11:30/11:45am. I called to cancel and told them I wasn't interested in doing business with them due to their lack of communication and respect for people's time. I don't know if they do good work, but I found them on Google and decided to try them. If you go with them, beware because they don't care about your time!

I got Asphalt Paving & Concrete Inc. to do some fixin' up for me, but they did a real bad job. The asphalt ain't as smooth as they promised, and there's a big ol' pile of it sittin' in front of my garage door. That's causin' water to get stuck in there, and come winter, it's gonna freeze up and be a real pain in the butt.

I hired this company a few times to Asphalt my driveway and it was always good until the last time. The worker didn't smooth out the asphalt in all areas, leaving some spots that were like mounds of asphalt instead of flat and smooth. The company did come back out and tried to fix it, but once the asphalt hardened, they could only make it better but not smooth. I don't think I should have been charged full price for a job that wasn't done right or can't be fixed right.

On Nov. 18, 2019, you guys did my driveway. It looked pretty good, but there was one spot near the front that wasn't so hot. I called a bunch of times to get someone to come out and look at it, but it took forever for anyone to show up. Finally, some dude came by and left a note saying to seal it in the spring or summer. He also left a bid for the job. But that didn't really help. Now when my wife turns the car, the driveway is coming up in spots. Can you please get in touch with me to figure out how to fix this mess? Thanks.

I got an invoice in May for work done on my garage. I thought the work was done by another company since it was mostly done in the alley and they didn't contact me before or during the work. I refused to pay because it wasn't related to the repairs in the contract. When they came back, the boss was really rude and I told them to leave. I contacted the company again because they made the problem worse, but they haven't responded to my email.

They came out and did our driveway on 7/27. A few weeks before, they tore up our yard and left shovels and other stuff. After they finished, I contacted the boss and showed him pictures of unfinished work. They said they'd fix it, but the driveway had holes and circles and was really bumpy. They were supposed to come back in September to stain it, but they haven't shown up yet. I can't get ahold of anyone and they sent me a bill that's past due, which is not cool. The total was $6176. The manager came out and saw chips in the driveway and circles all the way to the street. There's also discoloration. I called to ask about the bill, but he never called me back.

I got my driveway fixed by Asphalt Paving & Concrete Inc. They filled some small holes in it. They used power equipment to compact the asphalt or hand tamped it if they couldn't reach it with the equipment. They put three patches in the asphalt and sealed them later. But they didn't compact the patches into the existing asphalt. So now the asphalt is coming apart slowly. I have to sweep it up every day. The field engineer, ***, came to my house to get paid. I showed him the problem and he pressed down on one of the patches with his foot. The job was messy and I paid him $780. I told him I wasn't happy when I paid him. He took the money, said thanks, and left. I had already complained to his office managers before he got paid. I'm writing this review because I'm still sweeping up asphalt from the patches every day.

Your guys came last week (8/18) and paved our driveway. They did a real bad job, man. I got some pics to show you. The driveway is all messed up, not even close to being level. Water pools up in a bunch of spots 'cause the paving ain't flat or angled right. You came by before and showed me where the water in the back would drain to, so I put in a drain before the asphalt was laid. But the water don't drain there, it just pools up like 10 feet away. It don't even reach the drain! The biggest problem is that there was supposed to be 2.5 inches of asphalt all over the driveway, but the edges where I can check have less than half an inch. I want you (Dennis) to come check it out and bore a hole near the garage to show me the 2.5 inches. The crew didn't care at all and the quality is real poor.

I picked Asphalt Paving and Concrete last November to rip out my concrete driveway, carport, and sidewalk for $5,710 as per the bid and accepted contract. They finished the job in early December. In late February , after some very cold zero-degree weather, I noticed several cracks forming in the carport section, one going corner to corner. I tried calling ***, but he wasn't in, so I left a message about the driveway. I expected a return call, but in March, he sent an email that he would send someone out to touch it up. I followed up and called, but *** wasn't in. I left a message that I would like someone to come out and inspect the cracks because I felt a touch-up wouldn't work, and a repair of the carport section was needed. I received no return call or email. I followed up in April and May with additional calls for *** but had to settle for leaving messages. As of May 28, I haven't received a call or inspection of the driveway. I want a repair.

I had my front porch step fixed by Asphalt Paving & Concrete Inc. in April for $290. But even after the work was done, the step wasn't completely repaired. I contacted the office many times over a month or so, and even sent pictures to them. One of the people answering the phones told me that the step would be finished and that there was a year warranty on the work. But I called several more times and didn't hear from anyone about the repair. Then, in June, someone came and applied a sandy non-sticking material in the cracks, which I noticed by surprise because it was eroding away. I called again, sent more pictures, and asked who I should send them to. I was told that *** needed the pictures. So, I did that again. But I didn't hear anything again. No follow-up call, no email replies EVER. On August 4th, I sent more pictures and still haven't heard from the company. I have been patient with this company, but the communication is non-existent. As I said in my last email, I just want these cracks repaired with the same material they used for the step, which is holding up well.

We got a house on June 5, and Asphalt Paving & concrete did our driveway for a little over $10,000. We've had a lot of problems with the driveway and the company. I've reached out to them many times to get it fixed. They sent a guy who seemed drunk to fix it, but he only did one spot and said he'd come back. He never did. I called and left messages, but they never responded. I talked to a lawyer and they finally came to look at it. They agreed it wasn't done right and asked what I wanted. I said I wanted the edges redone, but they haven't done anything since April. I've left messages, but they always say David isn't in the office and will call me back. We can't even weed eat near the driveway because it crumbles and rocks fly everywhere. The driveway is only a year old, but it started having problems 2 months after we moved in. The layers are too thin and it's falling apart. It has a one year warranty, but I think they're trying to wait it out. We can't even seal it because it's so bad.
