On my first visit to Aspen Dental (Rome NY) for a dental problem they took about (20) x-rays at $18.00 each, okay, understandable... But, less then (21) days later I had an appointment for a teeth cleaning. At the appointment I couldn't believe it when the said they needed a "new" set of x-rays (20) just for a teeth cleaning and exam and they didn't even have a dental hygienists on duty! Did they expect me to come back another day, 60 miles of travel for the teeth cleaning? They couldn't give me a good reason why they needed more x-rays for a such a minor service. From what I can tell, they are x-ray crazy for the cash! Very, very unhappy with the way they try to take advantage of patients / me to make more cash. Watch them! From what I can tell, you watch and see, I bet that they are going to take x-rays of your mouth on every single visit, willing to put money on it!
Desired outcome: Quit scamming would be nice.
Aspen Dental - 5 teeth extracted by oral surgeon
On October 7 2019 i had 5 teeth surgically removed. During the procedure i awoke screaming from the anistesia... i was given another shot and the procedure was completed..upon arriving home my veins in my right hand were swollen and painful with a large lump and bruising..i contacted Aspen and they told me to seek medical attention...i went to my primarydr the nurse said it would go away and to take ibuprofen and apply hot packs...my veins remained swollen from my hand to just below my shoulder.i again sought medical advice from my primary dr.again was told ibuprofen and hot packs..keep an eye on it for a month..if it diesnt go away we will do ultrasound. My arm is killing me my veign is hard and painful.and now i have bone shards coming out of my gums...also have been over charged by 500.00 to a denta lb credit card that was billed for my surgery a month before it was preformed.
