They don't pay their subcontractors!!!
I am a flooring installer who subcontracted quite a bit of work from these crooked guys this past summer. Not only am I great at what I do, I am also compassionate and trust someone until they prove me wrong.
Remember "Do unto others as you would want done unto you"? Well, needless to say, after REPEATED calls and finally a lien put on them to attempt to recoup a fraction of the money owed to me, I have still not received a dime for these jobs that I completed! I am talking $thousands$ as well as over two weeks of my work life at 10-16 hours a day, 6 days a week...yeah, if you are a subcontractor asked to work for this company, DO NOT WORK FOR ARROW RESTORATION (311 28th st. SE Grand Rapids, MI)!
If you are a potential customer, DO NOT HIRE ARROW RESTORATION!

This company does a terrible job. Instead of repairing the damage to your home they cover it up. They are completely mismanaged. Arrow Restoration aka First Response is the worse contractor I have ever come across.

Completely agree that this company does cheap work by trying to cover up damage instead of fixing it. Awful company to work with and would not recommend them to anyone. They do not meet deadlines, broke several items in my house, and left paint splatters and scratches/scuff marks on my new floors. They did not install my cabinets or dishwasher (was leaking on my new floors) correctly. Close to impossible to reach anyone via email or on the phone and it's like pulling teeth to get them to do any work. Horrible, horrible experience with this company.
I have had nothing but great things from Arrow. They repaired three rooms removing mold, replacing studs, drywall, flooring, putting in vanity and much much much more. Everyone I have dealt with has been nothing but professional, kind, and responsive. Even the sub contractors have been outstanding. One drove all the way to Greenville twice to pick up the vanity and counter for our bathroom. They are coming out and are going to show us how to clean the furniture and other things before we out them back in the office and family room. In addition, they have been responsive after hours and weekends. Again - ABOVE AND BEYOND! Our sincerest thanks to Jason, Rick, Mike, Shawn, and all the others! God Bless

Broke several items in my home and I am still waiting for them to reimburse me. They also add items to your estimate that they actually do not do- So essentially you pay more for work that was never intended on being completed.
