I am a disabled veteran, recently VA started paying for my oxygen and equipment. Previously, Apria was providing my equipment and supplies. In the month of April,2026 I called Apria to pick up their equipment; in my possesion for a little over a week. Apria billed my insurance for an entire month of use and billed me for the entire months copay. After attempting to call them four times I finally reached someone who could barely speak English. I explained I felt it wasnt good practice to bill for an entire month, when I did not have the equipment for a month. They reduced my bill 10% and said that is their policy.
Recommendation: Shop for medical suppliers who care about their customers and veterans.
