I recently purchased an alternator from Apex Alternators and unfortunately, I have had some issues with it. It seems that the alternator does not charge at the correct voltage of 14.8, but instead only charges at 13.4-13.2. This is quite frustrating as I need my vehicle to be running at its best. Additionally, the voltage drops into the low 12 range after only a few minutes, even without any music playing or amps running.

I have tried to contact Apex Alternators about a replacement, repair, or refund, but unfortunately, they have not responded to me. This is quite disappointing as I was hoping for better customer service from them.

To make matters worse, the alternator is only seven months old and I only drive my vehicle three days a week. I expected it to last much longer than this and am quite disappointed in the quality of the product.

Overall, I would not recommend Apex Alternators based on my experience. The lack of response from customer service and the poor quality of the product have left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

I recently purchased an alternator from Apex Alternators for $434. They advertised it as a "drop in, plug and play" replacement for my car's alternator. However, when I received the product, I found that it did not plug in and did not fit my car at all. I tried to contact the company for assistance, but they did not respond to my inquiries. I was left with a useless product and no way to get my money back.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Apex Alternators. They took my money and did not deliver what they promised. It is frustrating that they would advertise a product as "plug and play" when it clearly was not. I feel like I was scammed and taken advantage of.

To make matters worse, PayPal was not helpful in resolving the issue. They were unable to force a refund from the company, leaving me with no recourse. I am extremely dissatisfied with both Apex Alternators and PayPal.

In conclusion, I strongly advise others to stay away from Apex Alternators. They do not deliver on their promises and will take your money without providing a working product. It is a waste of time and money to deal with this company.

I recently purchased a 350-360amp HO alternator from Apex Alternators for my 2012 Ford Fusion. Unfortunately, the wrong size was sent to me and it wouldn't bolt up. I contacted the seller and he had to do some digging to find the right size and housing for my application. Eventually, he built the correct alternator and it fit snugly into my Fusion. It's now charging 2 XS 2500 huge batteries for my system and it loves to charge them.

At first, I had my battery light on briefly for about a week. However, the ECU was able to learn and the issue was resolved. Although I wasn't too thrilled about the extra shipping charge, the seller didn't make anything difficult and rebuilt a new alternator that fit perfectly. I have to give him 5 stars for his legit business practices.

For anyone else who may have trouble getting in contact with him, I suggest having patience, persistence, and professionalism. He's a busy guy with many alternators to build and only him and another person running the business. There are only 24 hours in a day, after all. But he will respond as soon as possible.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase from Apex Alternators. Thanks for providing me with a great alternator!

I was in dire need of a high output alternator to support my audio demands. My stick unit would cause my voltage to dip into the 11's with only about half of the volume, and I was not going to push it. A buddy of mine recommended Apex Alternators, and I got a quote for a 350 amp unit with powder coat for about the same as the other units minus powder. I took a shot and was very pleased to see the powder was excellent, and a bench test yielded advertised and then some. However, there was a problem - it didn't come with the harness.

I contacted them, and Nick sent it before my late mail reached him. I'm not kidding when I say that I literally got a tracking number before the last email was sent. The harness arrived the next week, and I've been able to rock full tilt and have yet to do below 14.1 volts with two 5k's and a 3k for mids and highs. I do have a bank of lithium at 90ah, and even at idle, I've never dipped into the 13's.

I have zero complaints, so here it is. If you have any doubts, I'm here to tell you that I'm very pleased, and the unit is excellent. I'm satisfied AF. Thanks, Nick!

I recently had an experience with Apex Alternators that left me feeling extremely frustrated. I needed additional charging capacity for my class C RV and decided to look online for a solution. I had seen Apex Alternators' website before and had even corresponded with them in the past, but I failed to notice that they no longer had a physical address listed. Instead, there were three addresses in three different states, all of which turned out to be dead ends.

Despite my reservations, I decided to go ahead and pay in advance for an alternator. However, the lead time proved to be much longer than I had anticipated, and I began to grow nervous. There was a disclaimer on the invoice I paid, but I didn't think much of it at the time. I never imagined that they would deliver a product in such an unworkable condition that I wouldn't be able to get a refund or service.

I asked for a return address, but never received one. The address that PayPal provided turned out to be bogus, and I was shocked to learn that PayPal's buyer protection plan was not as effective as I had thought. In fact, I cancelled all of my relationships with the company after this experience.

It's difficult to put into words just how angry I am about this whole situation. I feel like I was taken advantage of by a group of frauds and thieves. I'm 70 years old, and I wish I could still deal violently with jerks like these. It's a shame that there are people out there who are willing to take advantage of others in this way.

I am writing this review with a lot of frustration and disappointment. I ordered an alternator for my car from Apex Alternators in November 2021, hoping to finish my car's sound system. However, I faced a lot of issues with the product. Firstly, it was not a plug and play alternator, and I had to put in a lot of effort to get it to work. Even after all the effort, the alternator would only charge at 12.8-13v, which is not enough to charge a car battery.

I tried to contact the company through emails, but it took them four months to respond. They kept giving me excuses about the shop being closed due to an illness and my alternator being lost in the warehouse. After a lot of back and forth, they finally sent the alternator back to me, claiming that it was functioning correctly. However, it was still not working, and they asked me to swap out the regulator, which they did not supply.

After a few more months of waiting and sending emails, I finally received the regulator in December 2022. I installed it, and it worked for only one month before the alternator burned out. I have been waiting for a response from Mr. Nicholas Starks since June 6, 2023, but I have not heard anything yet.

I have been patient with Apex Alternators, but I am running out of patience. Legal action may be the only option left for me. I am extremely disappointed with the product and the customer service. I would not recommend Apex Alternators to anyone.
