In late summer of 2025, Maximum Painting installed an epoxy floor in my garage. Looked good until spring 26. Over the first winter, a section of the epoxy cracked (see photo), and another section peeled. I called the owner (Sandro); he came over and inspected the situation. Said the concrete had shifted where he filled a crack. It wasn't his fault, but he said he'd fix it because he backs his work (at no charge). I can only assume he was only saying that because he was standing in front of me. I told him we could talk after the repair and would work out a price. I have been calling, texting, and emailing him for 6 months, with no reply. When I finally talked to him this month (Oct.) using a friend's phone, he asked, why have you been bothering me? I am NOT going to fix your floor; I'm too busy, and it's not my fault... don't bother me again...
Recommendation: The man's word means nothing, and he shouldn't be trusted. I would NOT recommend this company. And FYI… Most of their reviews are a year or more old.
You closed it and paid the balance, so this next bill is their error. Call CenturyLink billing, ask for a supervisor immediately, and give them the cancellation date and confirmation number. State plainly that you will not pay for a month after the account was closed. Get them to send written confirmation of the closed account and a zeroed balance. If they refuse, dispute the charge with your card issuer as billing after cancellation and file a complaint with your state utility commission, since they regulate CenturyLink. Save every call date, name, and confirmation number. You already won the cancellation fight, so do not let them reopen it.
