My mother (82) had American Standard Liberation remodel her bathroom in March of 2022 for safety reasons. The final "inspection" was a joke--the same person who did the remodeling also did the "inspection". In June, she noticed a leak in the bathroom that was causing the floor to collapse. She tried to get American Standard to come out and fix the problem, but they were "too busy" and told her to have her insurance company take care of it and then have the insurance company get the money from American Standard. My mother's insurance company told her they could not do this as the damage from the leak was not covered by her insurance. Seven months have gone by and my mother still has not heard back from American Standard and has had to pay almost $4,000 to have the leak fixed and her floor repaired. The repairman told her the problem had been caused by damage caused by American Standard when they remodeled her bathroom. My sister and I have been trying to get their attention for several months now, to no avail.
